Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/24/2012

Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/24/2012I don’t have a news item in the feed for this, but the latest sensational story about the 9-11 attack on the Benghazi consulate concerns emails that were sent to the White House the night the four Americans were killed. They show that President Obama was informed that the incident was a terrorist attack while it was still ongoing. Not only did the President lie about the nature of the incident for almost two weeks afterwards, but he failed to act while it was still possible to prevent Ambassador Stevens and the three others from being killed.

It’s uncertain whether this revelation will effect Mr. Obama’s electoral chances, since the major media outlets are ignoring it or downplaying it.

In other news, nine “British” men have been charged in the Rochdale grooming scandal, accused of sexual offenses with a single underage girl. The case has a Mohammed Coefficient of 22%.

Meanwhile, the Italian coast guard rescued a boatload of 200 North African migrants within Libyan coastal waters. 37 of those refugees were women, at least two of them pregnant. All were taken to the holding center on the island of Lampedusa.
