Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/21/2012The Jordanian security services foiled a major terror plot which they said would have caused thousands of deaths if the plotters had succeeded in their aim of attacking shopping centers and foreign diplomats. Eleven Islamic activists were arrested and shown on TV, all of them wearing identical blue shirts and long beards.

In other news, Muslim organizations and left-wing anti-racist groups in France were alarmed by yesterday’s occupation of the Grand Mosque in Poitiers by young operatives from Génération Identitaire. They are calling on the French authorities to take action to stop such manifestations of racism, intolerance, and Islamophobia.
