Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/7/2012Terry Jones, the Florida pastor who gained worldwide attention by burning a Koran at his church, has at last been able to protest in front of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. He and his supporters rallied against Islam in front of the mosque today. The way for their protest was cleared by the decision of a federal judge who struck down Dearborn’s requirement that Rev. Jones sign a legal agreement before being allowed to protest. No violent incidents were reported during the event.

In other news, the Turkish minister for European affairs says that his country will not be deterred in its bid to gain admission to the EU, despite the impediments set up by various European politicians who oppose Turkish membership.
