Taqiyya in the Armed Forces

The following news video is a sign of the effectiveness of the Tennessee Freedom Coalition: a mainstream TV newscaster uses the word taqiyya in her account of a Tennessee state politician who dared to criticize the inclusion of Muslims in the U.S. military.

She even bothers to research the definition of the word taqiyya: “lying for the sake of the religion.” However, she accepts without comment the Muslim spokesman’s assertion that “it is not practiced by the majority of Muslims.” No research? No asking him to back up his assertion with documentary evidence?

Also: you’ll notice that the Muslim soldier with a natural-born American accent seems to have a Bosnian surname.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this clip:

Mark Durie has a great little introduction to taqqiya in his book "The Third Choice." (Best intro I've seen.) The following article is also a great introduction to what taqqiya is and how widely it is practiced. http://www.meforum.org/2538/taqiyya-islam-rules-of-war
