Subway After Sundown

A few days ago, during the worst of the riots in England, a Subway shop in Manchester posted a sign on the door that read: “Due to the imminent collapse of society we regret to announce we are closing at 6pm tonight.”

I was reminded of that sign when one of our British readers sent us the following image, saying, “The attached just dropped through my letterbox in London...”

So, if your local Subway is still open after sunset — and is not yet a smoking ruin — that’s the place to go after Iftar.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading the larger image.
