Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/20/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/20/2011Over the last few days, an unusual rash of car-burnings has German authorities worried that a terror attack may be coming. In the past, luxury cars were the main targets, but now vans and delivery trucks are being torched in German cities. There is no indication so far whether anarchists, communists, or culture-enrichers are the likely arsonists.

In other news, the stock market took a break from its relentless decline — because it is closed for the weekend. Its precipitous drop is expected to resume first thing Monday morning.
