Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/25/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/25/2011Thousands of protesters marched in the streets of Amman, Jordan today, led by a coalition including the Muslim Brotherhood and the Communists. Meanwhile, in Libya the situation remains chaotic and violent, with rebels now said to be in control of the eastern oil fields, three quarters of which are closed.

The anticipated refugee crisis in the Mediterranean is causing grave concern in the EU, which has allocated €25 million to handle the emergency. The Libyan regime had acted as a de facto border control for illegal African immigrants into Europe, and that control has now vanished.

In other news, Pakistan is disregarding the diplomatic immunity of CIA agent Raymond Davis, and will put him on trial for the alleged killing of two men in Lahore.

God help us and our poor old continent. According to estimations, millions of Muslims will come to Europe by boats and ships in the next months. That's what the idiotic experiment "democracy in the Middle East" is about: now there's no need to create the Euro-Mediterranean Union, we just import it on our soil. When I see so many Europeans cheering for the freedom- and democracy-lovers in the Arab world, I feel like throwing up.

Actually if we had just a remnant of mental sanity and self-preservation, all Europeans should wear an "I love Gaddafi" and "I love Middle Eastern despots" T-shirt these days.

On the subject of Muslim immigration into Europe, there has been an interesting development with regard to Turkey. Turkey has announced that it will now refuse to take back illegal immigrants who have made their way into the EU unless the EU abolishes visa restrictions on Turks! So Europe gets islamified one way or the other. The news story reporting this is here. I made a blog post about it with some more background details on my Stop Turkey blog here.

What a tame, cowardly way of putting it, Johann.

A while ago I saw an interview during which a statement was made that has stuck with me. It was something along the line of : "We must be careful when we try to prevent the flood of immigrants here, that we don't create the kind of place that we don't want to live in." Perhaps there is no other solution. A scene from High Plains Drifter comes to mind. We must make these invaders rethink the logic of coming into these lands.

We have to convince them to remain in their desert oasis. Here is an idea: First 5 years all young men from Muslim countries must walk around naked and must spend each weekend at a local Jail.

The word "cave" in the Swedish rape article is mistranslated.

It should actually be "grotto", as in the Playboy Mansion grotto.

We are talking about a place intended for fornication or at least bikini tops coming off and heavy petting.

The Swedes are different than us--quite different.

Frankly, a Swedish pool/grotto is no place I would let my kids go unescorted.
