It’s Official: Obama is Ready to Accept the Muslim Brotherhood

Muslim Brotherhood logo and Hassan al-Banna

This is disgusting. We all knew it was coming, but still — to see it here in black and white at last…

From the San Jose Mercury News:

U.S. supports role for ‘non-secular’ groups in Egyptian government

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration said Monday for the first time that it supports a role for groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, a banned Islamist organization, in a reformed Egyptian government.

The organization must reject violence and recognize democratic goals if the U.S. is to be comfortable with it taking part in the government, the White House said. But by even setting conditions for the involvement of such “non-secular” groups, the administration took a surprise step in the midst of the crisis enveloping Egypt for the past week.

This is the first rub — and there are a lot of rubs in this deal.

Anyone who has studied the Muslim Brotherhood, or Islam in general, knows that a believer is not just permitted to lie, not just encouraged to lie, but required to lie if the action in question is required. It is mandatory for believers to work to establish the rule of sharia in any Muslim state. Therefore, when necessary, it is mandatory for believers to lie in order to achieve that end.

The Muslim Brotherhood will be more than happy to “reject violence”. No problem!

The article continues:
The statement was an acknowledgment that any popularly accepted new government would probably include groups that are not considered friendly to U.S. interests, and a signal that the White House is prepared for that probability after 30 years of reliable relations with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Monday’s statement was a “pretty clear sign that the U.S. isn’t going to advocate a narrow form of pluralism, but a broad one,” said Robert Malley, a Middle East peace negotiator in the Clinton administration. U.S. officials have previously pressed for broader participation in Egypt’s government.

This is the same form of “pluralism” that came to Iran in 1979. How long did that last? And what sort of “singularism” eventually emerged?

It doesn’t take a genius to predict what Cairo will look like in ca. 2013.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said a reformed government “has to include a whole host of important non-secular actors that give Egypt a strong chance to continue to be (a) stable and reliable partner.”

Really? What are they smoking in the White House these days?

Gibbs said the U.S. government has had no contact with the Muslim Brotherhood because of questions over its commitment to the rule of law, democracy and nonviolence. But the Brotherhood is not listed on U.S. terrorism lists, as are the Hamas and Hezbollah organizations.

This is either the stupidest or most disingenuous comment ever to emerge from the White House press office. Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood. It is known as the “Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine”. Its status as a franchise of the MB is officially established in its own covenant, as pointed out by Dr. Andrew Bostom earlier today.

The new official narrative about the Muslim Brotherhood is now being constructed. Like its subsidiary Hamas, it will have a “military wing” and a “political wing”, and we gullible Americans will work to strengthen the political wing, which will do all the usual good deeds — feeding children, building schools, running social services.

They’re good little socialists, those Brotherhood guys! And naturally they have no interaction with or control over those evil terrorist dudes in the military wing.

In addition to its political efforts, the Muslim Brotherhood runs social and economic programs that help fill the gaps in Egypt’s public services.

This is deeply pernicious stuff. And how about this?

It rejects the possibility of a woman or a Christian being president of Egypt, and would press for stricter adherence to Islamic codes.

Will the human rights crowd pass judgment on that one? Want to hold your breath?

U.S. conservatives such as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich have warned about its rise, and many draw comparisons to the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran. But others contend that fears of the Brotherhood, which has been suppressed for decades by the Egyptian government, are overstated.

Well, we’ll find out who’s right before very long.

The stupidity of American political leaders is unsurpassed. It seems that they never, ever learn. And they can’t see something that’s right there in front of their eyes.

This is just an outright lie. Muslim Brotherhood organizations are all up in the US government, and Obama had some over for his Ramadan Iftar dinner, where he announced his support for the Ground Zero Shariah Promotion Center Mosque.

What choice does Obama, or any Western leader, have but to 'accept' the Islamists?

We're going to have to accept Islamist governments in most, if not all, ME and North African countries. The idea that the majority of Arabs or Moslems want liberal democratic political systems is probably just wishful thinking. For them, the choice is between tyrannies.

You ask what Cairo will look like in 2013? Better ask what Jerusalem, and the other Israeli cities will look like by the time Obama leaves office?

This may be an attempt to deliberately destabilize the western and Arabic world, so much that the demand for a one world government may get stronger.

I think the US government know perfectly well what they are doing. They all know perfectly well what Islam is. It is a waste of time trying to convince them that Islam is profoundly evil. They all know that. They use it for all it's worth, the same way they used the global warming scam, trying to get a one world dictatorship.

The more chaos, the more demand for a strong dictator. By helping islamists, the US government, (and the UN, EU, IMF, World Bank Group etc, who all do everything they can to destroy the national state.) can then give more credibility to their idea of the national state as a source of war, something that has to be destroyed.

By forcing the western citizens to figh against Islam, the globalists will also have an easier access to more power. It is very difficult for an ordinary citizen to fight against both islam and the globalists.

Anybody who has studied Obama should have realized it would only be a matter of time before he threw his support to the Islamists.

Why am I not suprised.

Obama is just carrying out orders.

"We in the Muslim Brotherhood, reject violence."

There you go, problem solved !

Very nicely done, Baron.

Yes, so many of us saw this one coming and there are many angles to this story but what the end result is leaves us with what
this ignorant and clueless administration of now not so closeted islamists has done.
Personally I think the mullah
obamaham and his ilk were totally
ambushed by this wave of arab
nationality that has swept across
the ME like a contagious disease.
As if we in the west could be so
lucky to have that be the truth instead of this.

Time will tell and NO, I
do not think we or the
likes of Bostom are wrong.

Everyone, please help distribute information about the Muslim Brotherhood, that they may be discredited and prevented from gaining power.

There are many good articles out there on the internet. Here is one with a pamphlet and video that relates essential information:

Vlad Tepes Blog

And do quote their credo:

Allah is our objective, the Quran is our Constitution, the Prophet is our leader, Jihad is our way, and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.

Obama is NOT surprised. Obama has always had an Islamic plan. Why be U.S. President when you can be World Caliph ruling for the Islamophilic New World Order?

After all, it's so much easier to rule as World Caliph than to be elected as U.S. President - especially when Obama actually is a foreign national Muslim with an immutable love of all things Allah.

Violence and repression are the very heart and soul of Islam, and the very heart and soul of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Anyone trusting them is contemptible enough to deserve their betrayal.

I agree with Baron on this issue.

The "peaceful protests" in Egypt can't go on much longer. It's only a matter of time before the M.B. makes a move.

ElBaradei has already demanded that Mubarak leave Egypt by Friday.

We shall see.

The Obama administration said Monday for the first time that it supports a role for groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, a banned Islamist organization, in a reformed Egyptian government.

Further proof of what I have always maintained:

That regardless of any ostensible Christian belief, Obama's routine deference to Islam makes him a de facto Muslim. This is only more proof of it.

There is a reason why the Muslim Brotherhood is a "banned Islamist organization". There has been no sea change within that group to warrant any further contact with them. They have done nothing to indicate any new found pacification or moderation of their stance.

If anything, in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood has successfully demonstrated why they remain a genuine and potent threat to the civilized world and should be hunted down everywhere like the rabid animals that they are.

Obama's signal that he is willing to "negotiate" − as if there is ever any worthwhile negotiating to be done with Muslims of any stripe − is in direct opposition to DECADES of US foreign policy and totally undermines our nation's relatively consistent stance of opposition to seditious groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.

Opening the diplomatic doors to let in these swine is tantamount to encouraging all ongoing and future terrorism as it has now begun to demonstrate some genuinely functional results; All courtesy of Obama. TREASON!

It doesn’t take a genius to predict what Cairo will look like in ca. 2013.

At the very least, Egypt should be hung around Obama's neck like a millstone during the 2012 elections. Matters there should be sufficiently settled and more than adequately shari'a compliant enough to ensure that Islamic tyranny is well underway in Egypt by then.

What are they smoking in the White House these days?

What started as a mutual admiration society has evolved into a mutual masturbation group to the point where they are breathing their own exhaust and loving it. A less polite way of describing this is "sucking their own butts", an engineering term that refers to an instrument which is presenting its own corrective feedback signal as actual raw data.

The mutual back-slapping club in the White House has finally told each other their private Big Lies often enough to where they all believe each other.

This is either the stupidest or most disingenuous comment ever to emerge from the White House press office.

Stupid and disingenuous is what the White House does best these days. Why the surprised tone?

The new official narrative about the Muslim Brotherhood is now being constructed. Like its subsidiary Hamas, it will have a “military wing” and a “political wing”…

And those wings will be separated in the exact same way that there is separation of church and state in Islamic countries. Can this not be any more clear?

They’re good little socialists, those Brotherhood guys! And naturally they have no interaction with or control over those evil terrorist dudes in the military wing.

Save that shari'a and jihad will be written into their constitution just as it has been by Hamas.

Doing that should meet all of the requirements necessary to begin bombing them any time we want.

No we dont have to accept them. Just like we didnt accept Communist governments. South African White Supremacist Governments. Mugabe Black Supremacist Governments. Etc.

However democratization in the Arab and Muslm world is a good thing. The Islamic Reformation is properly fought within Muslim majority countries and not in the European West.

The dictators and the autocracies werent containing Islamic violence, they were doomed to failure.

This way, we have a chance to see whether Muslims and their ideology are redeemable, and if not we then have recourse to total war.

I agree the Muslim Brotherhood is dispicable. But there are 15% Copts, Women, Liberal Muslism and Secularist Muslims and Muslims that more concerned about preventing and limiting the ability of the authorities to abuse the populace like they have been under Mubarak, Trade Unionists and other Leftists, and Muslims more concerned about economics than cultural jihad.

There is some hope there.

That being said it is imperative right now that everybody start countering the double speak of the Muslim Brotherhood, when they talk about just secular law, they mean that which is compliant with Shariah (even if they arent talking about Religous Court Sharish), and when they talk about Freedom they are talking about Freedom for Islamic Supremacism, not about equal rights for non Muslims, women and others.

Hope that makes sense.

I always was somewhat of the same frame of mind as the NeoCons. A true liberal in the classical sense.
