Geert Wilders is on a Roll

Whatever jury-rigged government the Netherlands eventually puts together had better hold for a while, because none of the parties to it will do very well if another election is held anytime soon.

Actually, though, it’s the PvdA (Labour) which fares the worst in the latest polls, and Labour is unlikely to be a member of any coalition. According to Dutch News:

PVV Up in Latest Poll

The anti-Islam PVV would win 31 seats if an election was held now, according to the latest Political Barometer from research agency Synovate.

Geert Wilders’ party has increased its vote by four seats since the last poll six weeks ago. Compared with the elections on June 9, the party has gained seven seats.

The Labour (PvdA) party is the biggest loser, dropping four seats to 26 since the last poll.
