Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/11/2010

Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/11/2010The big news of the day (besides Lars Vilks) is that UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s faux “resignation” yesterday didn’t work. Today he actually had to resign, and David Cameron took over as prime minister of a Conservative-LibDem coalition government.

In other news, once again the Muslims of the Netherlands show modest but significant support for Geert Wilders. The latest polls indicate that 20% of Dutch Muslims agree with Mr. Wilders in his criticism of Islam.

Thanks to C. Cantoni, Fjordman, Gaia, heroyalwhyness, ICLA, Insubria, Jerry Gordon, KGS, Mercator Net, Reinhard, REP, TV, Winds of Jihad, and all the other tipsters who sent these in.

In hoc signo vinces

The Conservative and Liberal collision - correction coalition, can not see this lasting sets the UK up for an old style left - right confrontation and possibly a Labour landslide in the next 18 months.

This is a parliamentary coalition against the people of all political persuasions. Will Scotland go into rebellion if so this would not be a simple Scotland v England equation as the London based media like to setup, in the eighties the ploitical sympathies of the northern English looked over the border towards Scotland not to Southern England.

David Cameron has sold his Consrvative soul to Liberal Nick, a coalition sealed in hell.

You're assuming Cameron ever had a conservative soul to begin with.
