Below is a video of the intervention made by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff during Session 2 of the annual Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna yesterday (November 9, 2012).
The session’s topic was “Freedom of Association” Elisabeth spoke on behalf of Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa (BPE); see yesterday’s post for the full text of BPE’s intervention.
Elisabeth focused in particular on the plight of the English Defence League, which is effectively suppressed by the British authorities through being denied the right to assemble freely and peaceably. By allowing violent leftists to harass the EDL with impunity, while at the same time intimidating, inconveniencing, and arresting members of the EDL, the police are denying the group its rights under European and UN human rights conventions.
Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this video:

Why are we not hearing more from Paul Weston and Kevin Carroll? Tommy is in dire straits. He is under tremendous pressure. In the heyday of the British Empire dissenters were imprisoned and frequently subject to police brutality of the worst kind. Many were executed for the crime of disagreeing with the Crown.
Have we already forgotten the H Blocks of Long Kesh and internment without charge which is contrary to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? http://goo.gl/yUnpL Today it is more difficult to do this but they can still apply pressure in more subtle ways to achieve the same end. It is better we know the worst than nothing at all. Tommy and Kevin are working class men with limited resources. The movie “In the name of the Father” http://goo.gl/GJIDJ (Trailer) and http://goo.gl/oko6u (Full) serves as reminder. Lest we forget. Max.
