A group of armed men attacked worshippers as they were leaving a mosque in northern Nigeria yesterday, killing at least 20 and wounding an unknown number. The attackers were wearing police uniforms as disguises, and fired through the mosque door when it opened, killing unsuspecting people who were about to leave the mosque.
In other news, a strong electoral showing in Belgium by the Flemish separatist party NVA resulted in renewed calls for Flemish fiscal autonomy within the federal Belgian state.
