Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) said that the Republican Party is “basically a bigoted party”. Mr. Ellison was prompted to make this assertion by the anti-sharia plank in the Republican platform, which was announced at last week’s convention.
In other news, the victim of the shootings in the French Alps has been identified as an Iraqi-born businessman from Britain. There are some reports that the dead man had earlier been in a dispute with his brother over an inheritance from their father, and there is speculation that the murders were a hit job. The victim’s brother denies that there was any bad feeling between the two men.

Regarding the Iraqi murders in france. The word is the now deceased Iraqi-born businessman was really an engineer who worked for Saddam Hussein developing weapons of mass destruction (toxic gas) and he was the target of a hit. Too bad real hit ment NEVER leave witnesses, EVER. The family and the French bike rider paid the price. It was only sheer luck the little girl wasn't discovered or she'd have been shot as well. Age isn't a factor in "hits".
