Gates of Vienna News Feed 9/20/2012Muslims in France have condemned the publication of Mohammed cartoons in Charlie Hebdo. Muslims in Afghanistan staged street protests over the same issue. And the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt says that France must take decisive action against the magazine for publishing cartoons that insult the prophet.

In other news, the Australian Senate failed to pass a motion sponsored by the Greens to condemn the “hateful anti-Muslim views” of Geert Wilders, who has applied for a visa to speak in Australia next month.
