The German anti-Islamization group Pro-Deutschland is planning to display Mohammed cartoons during demonstrations in Berlin this weekend. Three mosques filed a petition to stop the showing of the Motoons, but a judge ruled that the drawings did not violate laws against slander or incitement. So the demo will go on as planned, presumably featuring Ol’ Turban Bomb.
In other news, an Islamic group in the Barrhaven neighborhood of Ottawa has requested federal protection after vandals torched a sign and scrawled racist slogans at the site of a planned mosque.

Wife of VS Naipaul
Nadira Naipaul
