I would think anyone who takes that pledge of allegiance to Islam would be disqualified from being connected to any high government office and definitely not have access to top secret security documents. Bachmann and the few brave members of congress who are willing to question the cozy relationship Obama and Hillary have with members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and those who take the pledge to overthrow this government and replace it with Islam. Definitely not what we want in high positions of government or giving advice to those in High positions. Looking back on Hillary and Obama's past we can see why they find friendship with the enemies of our country.
I've been watching this develop into the issue it has now become for some, but not for others, and is still largely a non-issue.
It's those who consider this a non-issue that need to be zeroed in on and asked to explain why it is that they have chosen to remain ignorant of the facts, while also championing the subject of the issue. Abedin has left a rather long paper trail that is easily followed and damns her for what she is, and those who consider her beyond criticism expose their objectivity, which is at best circumspect to what they wish to believe, and not what the hard facts present.
Are those who refuse to commit to studying Abedin's past still able to differentiate between what is right, what is wrong, and what constitutes a clear and present danger, or are they moral cowards who refuse to come to terms with the evidence because they are too afraid of their political rivals who no doubt take great delight in politicizing those who raise national security concerns when the subject is a Muslim.
I can only shake my head in disbelief at the incompetence and cowardice so readily on display from those who have a duty to protect the citizens of the United States from enemies foreign and domestic!
If I had the chance to vote again in the last election, I would definitely vote for Obama.
John McCain was one of the loudest critics of the 5 congressmen asking about Huma Abedin's security clearance. McCain criticized Obama for not intervening strongly enough in the Libyan and Syrian uprisings. If we're going to have an idiot in the White House trampling the long-term interests of the United States, at least let it be a Democrat.
The shoe is on the other foot for this election. No one of the caliber of Obama or McCain should ever get more than a single term to do his damage. Thus, there is every reason to support Romney this election cycle, regardless of whether Romney turns out to be a liar or tax manipulator.
Abedin is where she is because of Hillary Clinton. Why the GOP hasn't gang piled on her in another matter entirely.
Look the GOP has never been serious about dealing with Muslims and for the most part kissed their rear ends during Bush42's reign. They let PC rule in our military and we ended up Muzzies like Maj Hasan.
I think with few exceptions like Bachmann, the GOP doesn't care about them.
