Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/2/2012A group of militant Uighurs failed in their attempt to hijack a Chinese airliner by breaking into the cockpit with a broken crutch. They were overpowered by passengers, and were detained by the authorities when the plane landed.

In other news, the owner of a pub and hostel in Australia is refusing to accept any more Irish backpackers as guests in his facility. He says that he is fed up with their drunken brawling.
