Fleeing across the Mediterranean Sea: An upside-down world
There are no jobs to be offered by the Spanish employment offices, that’s why four young Spaniards tried to look for chances in Algeria.
During my daily reading of the Algerian press, I stumbled upon the following story. It deals with the “harragas”, the name given in Algeria to those young people who have no documentation and look for chances far from their home. But read it for yourself:
Spanish Harragas caught in Oran
Who would have thought?
This information has its importance and does not remain unnoticed, because it’s about harragas… Spanish harragas which were recently caught by the Algerian coast guard along the western coast.
The global economic crisis which has struck Spain and other European countries drove a group of four young Spaniards to look for a job in Africa. There’s nothing more common than trying to cross the sea in the opposite direction, as these young people have received no Algerian visas.
The Spanish harragas were intercepted in a boat as they tried to reach the coast of Algeria. The young people hoped to find jobs in Oran, where there are many Spanish firms. Our source says that these young Spaniards, who had previously lost their jobs after the firms for which they worked closed down, made an unsuccessful application for a visa in Algeria […] The detainees were sent back to their country of origin.

This is surreal and sickening...
Perhaps twenty years or so ago I read an MSM report on desperate Algerians swimming across, trying *anything* they could to find work. Any work.
And now the tide begins the other way. 'Sad' doesn't even begin to describe the waste of human talent and energy. Lives are being destroyed while the bloated politicrats continue to milk the cow...
When the Irish were debating the referendum, the pols there were saying "vote yes for the damn thing. We want our money". And Brussels does indeed reward those who show up in those EU Parliamentary seats.
Plenty of Spaniards where I work in Poland... something else that would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.
Christine Lagarde:
So when she studies the Greek balance sheet and demands measures she knows may mean women won't have access to a midwife when they give birth, and patients won't get life-saving drugs, and the elderly will die alone for lack of care – does she block all of that out and just look at the sums?
"No, I think more of the little kids from a school in a little village in Niger who get teaching two hours a day, sharing one chair for three of them, and who are very keen to get an education. I have them in my mind all the time. Because I think they need even more help than the people in Athens." She breaks off for a pointedly meaningful pause, before leaning forward.
"Do you know what? As far as Athens is concerned, I also think about all those people who are trying to escape tax all the time. All these people in Greece who are trying to escape tax."
Even more than she thinks about all those now struggling to survive without jobs or public services? "I think of them equally. And I think they should also help themselves collectively." How? "By all paying their tax. Yeah."
It sounds as if she's essentially saying to the Greeks and others in Europe, you've had a nice time and now it's payback time.
"That's right." She nods calmly. "Yeah."
Make of it what you will, the consequence of all that ass over head synchronised swimming malice and hatred for the indigenous peoples of Europe.
Jolie Rouge
Brussels did this.
Really, human GREED did this!
Westerners wanted MORE than they earned, and now Westerners will receive far far less than they earned.
Easterners are truly just copying the example of greedy Westerners: everyone wants and demands MORE than they earn.
The consequence of GREED is that the future will be dimmer than the past and present.
Western children - who will soon be enslaved by the East - were first enslaved by the West!
P.S. My code word is mine!

Egghead, I think you would be welcomed with open arms in the country that you love so dearly. North Korea is always looking for a few good men.
The Spanish with their socialist government went for the renewable energy scam in a big way and the results are that Spain lost 2 to 5 jobs for every green job "created" by siphoning money from productive areas into empty green pipe dreams. Are Spaniards, especially young jobless Spaniards aware of this colossal foolishness on the part of their rulers? Are they tossing socialists out on their ear for their gross miscalculation? Or are they going to be like the Greeks and French and double down on the economic destruction that socialism wreaks on everything it touches?
If this story is true it has a thousand implications, the main one being that Spain gets the honor of being the second economic collapse in the EU. I would like to know how they keep it all under wraps. It's got to be ugly.
H. Numan: Say what you want, but there are a vast majority of older people who were more than willing to live off of their own children BY FORCE for more than the number of years that they worked. Greed!
The lavish pensions, plus social security and Cadillac medical care for ancient seniors has bankrupted the entire country for everyone - but the MORALS were bankrupt first.
The senior citizens were the FIRST 'gimme gimme' generation with ZERO regard for the future of anyone but themselves. Zero regard for their children and zero regard for their country and zero regard for the idea of Western civilization!
