There has been another shooting at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg. Earlier today an assailant approached a campus policeman who was making a routine traffic stop, shot him to death, and then ran off. A dead man was found not far away, and the murder weapon was nearby. The police aren’t confirming it yet, but it seems the suspected murderer is the dead man, killed either by his own hand or by a police officer. The campus was on lockdown for several hours this afternoon after the shooting.
