Free Palestine — In Basque Country

This is one of the creepiest videos I’ve seen recently. All those little European girls in hijab, and the boys with their burnooses, and the adults egging them on, and clowns dancing and whooping it up all around them — who thought this was a good idea? What kind of community promotes this sort of nonsense?

Apparently the language of the original is Basque, with subtitles in Spanish (which have now been translated). Do the Basques feel that there is an equivalence, that they are being occupied by Spain (or France) in the same way the Palestinians are being “occupied”?
