Hamas is considering moving its headquarters from Damascus to Cairo. The ongoing protests in Syria, and their brutal suppression by the Assad regime, have made the terror group consider relocating to a more secure environment. It says that some of its people may decide to return to Gaza.
In other news, the Italian government is considering a special tax on the rich (those earning over €500,000 p.a.) to help balance the budget. A 1% increase in the VAT is also part of the proposed package.
Meanwhile, housing sales for the second quarter in Spain fell 40% over the same period last year.
