At least one person was killed today in an explosion at a decommissioned nuclear plant in southern France. The plant is used to process nuclear waste, and the explosion occurred in an oven used for drying radioactive material. The French authorities say there was no radiation leakage as a result of the blast.
Meanwhile, according to a new poll, 56% of Canadians believe the differences between Islam and the West are “irreconcilable”. Also, 62% say that water is wet.
OK, so I made that last one up. But still…
In other news, the United States government is promoting the idea of establishing an “embassy” for the Taliban in Qatar. The USA believes that it will improve dialogue between Western countries and the “students” of the Koran.

Obviously, the Canadian government must forthwith begin importing more Muslims to overrule the natives and to alleviate the "racism" indicated by the survey results. Ha!
"establishing an “embassy” for the Taliban in Qatar"
Fun, how long do you think before someone blows it up?
Sweden: Imam calls to kill converts on Radio Sweden
"It is the duty of every Muslim to kill those who leave Islam." This statement was made on Radio Sweden recently when an Imam from Rinkeby (Stockholm) was allowed to speak about how people should act against Somalis who convert to Christianity.

"It is the duty of every Muslim to kill those who leave Islam."
Now, this is an interesting statement for those in the know because technically in Islam ALL people are born Muslim and those who fail to practice Islam are simply corrupted by their corrupt parents. Hence, the idea that there are NO converts to Islam - only reverts.
Thus, this imam is, in effect, arguing that it is the duty of all Muslims to kill all non-Muslims.
Pause to think about that for a moment....
"56% of Canadians believe the differences between Islam and the West are “irreconcilable”.
That means 44% don't know the first thing about Islam and its sharia law requirements. Most Canadian Muslims if they answered honestly are in the first group. They know sharia law contradicts Canadian law but many have been pushing for it anyway as a requirement of their ideology that they call a religion to get more concessions. And predictably, the left wing bureaucrat running the poll said it showed how much work had to be done to (brainwash) (indoctrinate) educate the FIRST group of Canadians to believe in compatibility...
Laine,
While I believe what you say to be true, I am reminded of the Tea Party in the US. No amount of villifacation; calling people terrorists, racists, stupid, etc by the left have stopped this movement. Americans finally saw with their own eyes (those that had been playing by the rules and paying their taxes every year) the destruction to their way of life that the US gov't had in store for them.
I think this is also true in
Canada regarding the swamping of their culture by the PC. Surely the trials of Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn were a big wake up call for
Canadian citizens AND THEIR POLITICIANS.
