The Serbian-American historian and journalist Srdja Trifkovic is skeptical that Serbia is finished jumping through Europe’s hoops. He suspects that there will be other demands — including the recognition of Kosovo, the granting of more autonomy to Muslim minorities within Serbia, and other assaults on the country’s sovereignty — before it is allowed to join the EU.
