Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/10/2010

Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/10/2010During President Obama’s visit to Indonesia, First Lady Michelle Obama shook hands with the Information Minister, Tifatul Sembiring. He told his fellow Muslims that he was “forced” to shake Mrs. Obama’s hand, but the video of the incident does not seem to bear him out.

In other news, the Social Liberal Party in Denmark has proposed the establishment of an Arabic-language channel in the country, saying that it will help in the integration of Denmark’s Muslim immigrants.

How does an avenue for allowing them not to learn Danish help integration? The reasoning escapes me. Is the Social Liberal Party a Muslim party?
