The news feed is late tonight because I was out much of the day visiting the big city. In addition to attending to various errands, I went to see Toy Story 3, the first movie I’ve seen since… Well, since the last Pixar movie. I highly recommend it.
Then I had to do the news feed, and came back to the real world: A large number of Christians have fled Faisalabad in Pakistan in fear of Muslim violence. The trouble started after Friday prayers at a local mosque, but tensions were already high. A day earlier a Muslim protest march called for the death of blasphemous Christians, and the mob stoned a Catholic church.

Diana West: Why Do We See Real Spies as Hollywood Fiction?
Well, whaddya know. Guess what our dear pals in Russia are up to?
From the full article: … the not-so-mysteriously poisoned Russian ex-agent Alexander Litvinenko, whose slow, excruciating 2006 death by polonium poisoning is attributed to orders from Russia's Vladimir Putin, made numerous claims that terrorism attributed to al Qaida and other jihadist groups is, in fact, backed by Russian security services, the original hell-font of global terrorism. In 2005, for example, Litvinenko told a Polish newspaper that top al Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was trained by the FSB (successor to the KGB) for six months in 1997, after which he was sent to Afghanistan where he penetrated the top ranks around Osama bin Laden. [emphasis added]
But, but, but … Russia is our friend and a great model for how to go about preserving nationalistic integrity. NOT!
Russia continues to be a net exporter of terrorism. I don't care how many Muslims they kill in Chechnya, Russian is still enabling the ones that want to kill us.
Swedes Incur US Anger Over ‘Slacker’ Jesus Show
“I don’t know what the Christian right is capable of. Our names stood in one of the articles so, yes, I became a little scared,” he told Aftonbladet.
Nice little parting shot there, @$$holes. Make sure and toss in a little baseless moral equivalency between Islam and Christianity to assuage your own feelings of nutless, abject cowardice.
If Comedy Central had stood its ground on the South Park Mohammad episode − after all, they didn't even show a likeness of Mohammad, he was hidden in a bear costume at all times − then they would have earned the moral authority to take a swipe at Jesus.
Seeing the Swedish writers attempt to register uncertainty about "what the Christian right is capable of", is pure unadulterated, USDA inspected, Jumbo AAA sized, ranch style, 24 carat gold-plated, Heinz 57 varieties of hot, steaming h0r$e$h!t. Especially in light of how so many Swedes currently defend Palestinian terrorists even as they adamantly refuse to admit that immigrant Muslims are responsible for their country's unprecedented rape epidemic.
This reeks on so many different levels that there's sufficient olfactory capacity for an entire surfeit of skunks.
Remember, I'm an agnostic, but hypocrisy of this magnitude is so patently offensive as to be nearly criminal in nature.
Funds for construction of a mosque near ground zero are flowing in. Please note how no other churches are to be built. If any symbol is to be built about 9/11 and tolerance, it will require at least a few other houses of worship in addition to a mosque. Of course, this is incompatile with Islamic 'religious' concepts.
