Or to the Phone Age, anyway.For some reason our satellite connection has been off for most of the day. It doesn’t seem to be the weather, so perhaps the satellite was hit by space junk. Or maybe there are gremlins up there peeling back the cowling to have a look at the little blinking lights inside…
In any case, Dymphna and I have to take turns using the 26K dialup. This makes it impossible for us to view most websites, and prevents us from watching any videos whatsoever. It also makes posting slow and frustrating, and delays our email responses.
So be prepared for light posting this evening. I’ll do my best to get a news feed out, though.
