The Much-Anticipated Death of Geert Wilders

Free Geert banner

It’s obvious that the Dutch government wants Geert Wilders out of the way, and doesn’t much care how it happens.

In bygone days the Queen might have murmured to herself, “Who will rid me of this troublesome blond?” And then, to please his monarch, some eager courtier would have dispatched Mr. Wilders to meet his maker.

But today’s tactics have to be different. First the government demonizes the head of the PVV, eroding his official legitimacy and making it seem as if he almost deserves a violent end. Then it puts him on trial on trumped-up charges, and declines to provide the same courtroom security for a member of parliament that it gives to Islamic terrorists.

And now the latest twist: a state-sponsored radio station has produced a fake movie trailer, “The Murder of Geert Wilders” (which can be viewed here). It seems to be in Italian with Dutch subtitles, of all the strange things. Mind you, this is supposed to be funny, And it probably is, if you happen to be a fourteen-year-old Moroccan-Dutch kid, such as the ones we saw in Vlad’s video last night.

Mr. Wilders’ party has complained about the use of public money for such purposes. Here’s what the PVV website says, as translated by VH:

Insipid murder movie about Wilders

The Party for Freedom wants Minister Plasterk to explain why tax money is used for a provocative film about the murder of Geert Wilders. The movie was made by Pezpaq, a part of FunX, a heavily subsidized multicultural radio station.

PVV media spokesman Martin Bosma: “This is truly tasteless. Geert Wilders lives under the heaviest possible security. That you would produce entertainment about the murder of someone like that is disgusting. Why the hell do people pay taxes for this? It would be good if FunX would use its grant money to participate in regular audience research. Then it would immediately be shown that almost no one listens to the channel and therefore it could be quickly abolished.”

Questions put to the Minister of Media Affairs, Mr. Plasterk [PvdA, Socialists, Labour], by Mr. Bosma, a Member of the PVV, concerning a murder movie about Geert Wilders:

1. Has the Minister become aware of the movie “The Assassination of Geert Wilders”?
2. Are cases known to you in which the state broadcaster has made “murder movies” about left-wing politicians, or is the aggression of the state broadcaster focused only against right-wing politicians?
3. How does the production of the movie relate to the Media Act, which requires the public broadcaster to be “of us all, and for us all”?
4. Will you find the state broadcaster partly responsible when someone actually turns the word into the deed?

In a country where one media star had already been murdered by psychopaths, the state is funding a movie encouraging another murder? Disgusting.

Hey, it worked effectively for getting rid of Pim Fortuyn.

And Theo Van Gogh.

Why change a winning formula for dhimmi Dutch capitulaltion to intimidating Islamic Terror?

If they really want to get rid of Wilders in a deniable way, just convict him, sentence him to prison, and wait for the inevitable murder attempt by a Muslim inmate.

While not yet brought to fruition, the same strategy also is being used in the case of Gregorius Nekschot:

Paul Velleman was the prosecutor [of Geert Wilders] who had the cartoonist Nekschot picked up in a raid by ten police officers in the middle of the night, and kept him locked up for more than two days. Quote from H. Numan: After release, he was told: You can forget about anonymity now. They know who you are.“ [Emphasis added]

Well, what do you think they're doing? It's pretty clear what the desired outcome is. Perish the thought that Wilders might become one of the counter-jihad movement's first widely known martyrs.

Just a few months ago I was optimistic about this trial. I'm not so anymore but get more and more worried about the outcome of this whole affair. Well aware that the dutch queen is a member of the Bilderbergers and the NWO-scum along with the Rockefellers and Rothschildes doesn't exactly ease my mind. They want him dead and are probably going to get it their way.

The Dutch government, the Swedish government, every west European government (?) - a collection of jerks and traitors to the people?
Back in July 2007 the Durch Balkenende Cabinet changed foot. Up untill then the policy for immigrants was to learn Dutch, to assimilate and adapt to the Dutch norms and values. Then the minister Ella Vogelaar, primadonna (minister) of integration started speaking about the mutual process whereby the Dutch and muslim cultures influence and stimulate each other. - It is important that the large group of muslims root themselves in our society and become a permanent part, said Vogelaar, - Centuries ago the Jewish people came to the Netherlands and now we say, 'the Netherlands is a land formed through Jewish and Christian traditions.' I can picture a similar process with Islam.
In November 2008 after having lost the confidence of the Cabinet she resigned as primadonna of integration. But the heritage after her....

The Netherlands appears to have adapted the way of the muslim prophet in way and deed - though not quite yet, deen.

Muslims revere the qur'an, a war treatise that remains contemporary for all time. The sunnah, the ultimate "way" of the prophet Muhammad, is their guide for the application of the qur'an. Uswa hasana, a model for all time, whatever Muhammad did is what Muslims must do, throughout time and space. There is no better pattern for life than the example of Muhammad, al-insan al-kamil, the Best of Men, to be emulated by all Muslims and as witnessed here, by apologists for Islam today.

These most shameful events of late demonstrate how deeply dhimmified the political left of the Netherlands has become as a result of their fears of facing the consequences of their PC/MC stupidity and obvious political jealousies .

How Muhammadan of them!

“Who will rid me of this troublesome blond?”

Islam 101 via JihadWatch: Battle of Badr The Sunnah — the "Way" of the Prophet Muhammad

Having returned to Medina after the battle, Muhammad admonished the resident Jewish tribe of Qaynuqa to accept Islam or face a similar fate as the Quraish (3:12-13). The Qaynuqa agreed to leave Medina if they could retain their property, which Muhammad granted. Following the exile of the Bani Qaynuqa, Muhammad turned to individuals in Medina he considered to have acted treacherously. The Prophet particularly seems to have disliked the many poets who ridiculed his new religion and his claim to prophethood -- a theme evident today in the violent reactions of Muslims to any perceived mockery of Islam. In taking action against his opponents, "the ideal man" set precedents for all time as to how Muslims should deal with detractors of their religion.

Sira, p367: Then he {Kab bin al-Ashraf} composed amatory verses of an insulting nature about the Muslim women. The Apostle said: "Who will rid me of Ibnul-Ashraf?" Muhammad bin Maslama, brother of the Bani Abdu'l-Ashhal, said, "I will deal with him for you, O Apostle of God, I will kill him." He said, "Do so if you can." "All that is incumbent upon you is that you should try" {said the Prophet to Muhammad bin Maslama}. He said, "O Apostle of God, we shall have to tell lies." He {the Prophet} answered, "Say what you like, for you are free in the matter."

How Muhammadan of the Netherlands . . .indeed.

Despicably shameful.

Excellent post, heroyalwhyness.

Now, onto more canal bilge:

Insipid murder movie about Wilders

The Party for Freedom wants Minister Plasterk to explain why tax money is used for a provocative film about the murder of Geert Wilders. The movie was made by Pezpaq, a part of FunX, a heavily subsidized multicultural radio station.

I also wanted to make sure that this particular little bit of slime mold got some extra sunlight.

Please keep in mind that I have never been any big fan of George Bush II. That said, I was still appalled by director: Gabriel Range's movie "Death of a President".

In cooperation with the MSM, American liberals had whipped up so much hatred−think: Bush Derangement Syndrome−that the film represented nothing less than an open invitation to emulate its vile plot.

Be that as it may, having been produced with private funding by private individuals, and distasteful though it was, the movie may have−however narrowly−merited protection under free speech laws.

Disregarding any differences between American and Dutchs laws that govern freedom of expression, Willem Stegeman's “The Murder of Geert Wilders” is equally, if not very much more, offensive. First off, it was produced using government funds and, therefore, must meet certain production standards that might not apply to a private enterprise.

Secondly, Wilder's entire trial concerns "incitement to hatred" and it is difficult to imagine anything−be it full length movie or a mere trailer, however satirical−more provocative or inciting with respect to his personal safety. This is especially so considering the highly questionable role that Dutch authorities have played in the protection, or lack thereof, provided for other controversial figures like Fortuyn, Van Gogh or even the now-fugitive Nekschot.

[Quote by Stegeman from the Diana West article] We are exploring how far we can go, and some may find it in bad taste. But the same can be said of statements by some people in the political spectrum.

The foregoing is a tidy bit of moral equivalency that effectively likens Wilders' obvious patriotism to something so distasteful as the open advocacy of murder. Or, as Diana West puts it:

"Spoofing" Wilders' death is "bad taste" just as "some people" (Wilders) discussing the Islamic institutions of jihad and dhimmitude in this crucial period of Western Islamization is in "bad taste.".

Given every benefit of the doubt, it would seem that Stegeman et al deem that Geert Wilders is, somehow, liable for the colonial crimes of the Netherlands. In the grand tradition of "the sins of our fathers", Wilders' opposition to modern unsystematic immigration laws in some way cannot be stomached due to how other minorities were treated centuries ago by people wholly unrelated to Wilders himself.

This is crucifixion, plain and simple, and Wilders’ notions of national or cultural pride are intolerable to those who prefer for the entire Netherlands to expiate its colonial (read: cultural), sins by drowning itself in a deluge of seditious foreign barbarians that would just as soon turn every Dutch shrine into public toilets including this one at Margraten.

It's funny that when you talk about Eurabia and the plans to islamize the old continent, most people around think that you're a nutcase obsessed by conspiracies. Yet, it's the officials and politicians of the Western countries who openly, explicitly, in broad daylight express their plans and desire to transform Europe into an Islamic territory. It's like someone telling you "Look, I have a gun in my hand and I want to kill you. It's such a pleasure to see you dead" and you reply: "No, I don't believe you. It's a conspiracy".

Thank you Zenster, you made my day!

Interesting choice of words you chose for your comment as it mirrors a statement in Barons's post reflecting a "Pot meet kettle" irony.

Zenster stated: ". . .Secondly, Wilder's entire trial concerns "incitement to hatred" . . .

and the Baron posted:

Who is actually inciting the hatred?

"Pot meet kettle" indeed!

Building on what the Anti-Islamist posted with regard to Dutch immigration policy, I would like to point out that Judaism is a religion that has tens of millions of adherents, and are the majority in only one country (Isreal). By contrast, Islam has in excess of one billion adherents, is the majority in numerous African, Middle-Eastern, and S.E. Asian nations.

Methinks a mention of apples and oranges is required here.

They also tried to get Ayaan Hirsi Ali out of the way by deniing her neccesary protection.

South America, here I come. I've had it up to here (points above head) with EU, islamists and cowardly politicians who want Europe to turn moslem.
