The big news of the day was the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that struck early this morning just off the coast of Chile. The death toll is now over 200, but the tsunamis that spread across the Pacific basin were not as large as had been feared, generally varying between three and seven feet.
In other news, according to a CNN poll, fully 56% of the American public view the federal government as a danger to their individual liberties.
Additionally, 61% of Americans think the Pope is Catholic, and 67% say that ursines defecate in arboreal environments.

According to the latest poll Wilders' PVV is again the biggest party in NL.
Also Dutch local elections are coming up this Wednesday so it should be an interesting indication of Wilders' support.
As noted on POV earlier it is poised for some big gains in Almere and The Hague.
The establishment is running scared.
