A Shill for the Messiah

This past Tuesday President Obama visited Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, for another one of his unscripted meet-the-folks “town hall” forums to discuss his health care plan.

Yes. Unscripted. Unscreened speakers and participants. Ordinary folks who stand up and speak their minds, just like in a Norman Rockwell painting.

Yup. Right.

One of the ordinary unscripted people was Ms. Lori Hitchcock, a Portsmouth resident who introduced the President at the meeting. Here’s what Mr. Obama said about her afterwards:

I’ve been holding some of my own [town hall meetings], and the stories I’ve heard have really underscored why I believe so strongly that health insurance reform is a challenge we can’t ignore.

Lori HitchcockThey’re stories like Lori Hitchcock’s, who I met in New Hampshire this week. Lori’s got a… pre-existing condition, so no insurance company will cover her. She’s self-employed, and in this economy, she can’t find a job that offers health care, so she’s been uninsured for two years.

So we’re being presented with a heart-rending true story that illustrates the urgent problems Americans face with their health care. A working woman, now self-employed, who can’t afford decent medical care.

There’s only one problem: the Lori Hitchcock story is bogus. She’s not an ordinary blue-collar mom trying to make ends meet; she’s a Democratic Party operative who runs a high-end business and worked for the Kerry-Edwards campaign back in 2004.

In a word, she’s a shill. She’s an astroturf lady par excellence, planted in the meeting to ratchet up the rhetoric on behalf of the Messiah’s single-payer socialist health insurance dream.

I know all this because of — who else? — or Flemish correspondent VH, who did a little internet sleuthing on Ms. Hitchcock after he read about her in the media.

He left a comment on Dymphna’s post from early this morning:
- - - - - - - - -
But this Lori B. Hitchcock was owner of Hitchcock Technology, is President of Hitchcock Staffing, and Hitchcock Contemporary Staffing; Member of the Board of Trustees of Community Technical College System, Member of the Board of Ecoast Technology Roundtable Board of Directors, Member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and of the Seacoast Human Resource Association. She serves on the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce Business, and once a Real Estate Broker. This year she was placed by the Governor as nominee for reappointment (for the term until 2013) to the Boards and Commissions by the Governor and Executive Council for the Community College System of New Hampshire (Business and Industry).

And not only that, she was in the Steering Committee of the Kerry-Edwards Campaign, together with Ron Ulrich, owner of MedOne Health Care…

Am I mistaken, or is there something wrong here?

No, he’s not mistaken. Follow his links and you’ll find out that everything he says is true.

But there’s nothing wrong here. Everything is on track, and the Obama Machine is chugging along exactly as planned. Lori Hitchcock is part of a massive, well-organized, carefully planned disinformation operation that is being implemented all over the country to steamroller the United States into socialized health care.

When I went looking for a photo of Lori Hitchcock, I stumbled across the page for the Board of Trustees for the Community College System of New Hampshire, on which she represents business and industry.

At the same site you’ll find a pdf of her bio, which (in addition to some personal information) mentions that since December 1997 she has been President /Senior Recruiter for Hitchcock Staffing, LLC Portsmouth, NH. This is the “self-employed” occupation that “this economy” has driven her into — except she’s been running her business since before the dot-com boom.

And when you read some of her other professional positions — Account Representative in Massachusetts, Commercial and Residential Real Estate Broker in New York and Connecticut — you wouldn’t think she’s the kind of person who lines up at the Free Clinic to get her shingles treated. Look at this list of blue-blooded professional affiliations:

  • Ecoast Technical Recruitment, Retention and Education Committee, CoChair
  • Ecoast Technology Roundtable Board of Directors
  • Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce — Business Development Committee
  • Society for Human Resource Management
  • Seacoast Human Resources Association
  • Massachusetts Employers Association — Human Resource Council

This woman is a full-fledged card-carrying member of the East Coast nomenklatura, an apparatchik in the quasi-private social services network that dominates New England and much of the rest of the country.

If Barack Hussein Obama has his way, and our nation’s health care system becomes fully socialized, you can bet that she’ll be rewarded with a plum administrative appointment for the Portsmouth Soviet helping to oversee the new system.

It’s the least the Messiah can do for her — she’s earned it.

The Obama media machine is reminiscent of the U.K. Labour Party media spin, particularly that of the Blair period - it is like watching a re-run of old propaganda films.

Oh look over there...a unicorn!!

Nothing to see here, move along.

/sarc off

And then there was the innocent little girl who asked Obama why there were so many mean signs about healthcare, etc. whose mother was an Obama supporter, etc. You would think people would work harder to try and hide their "associations" with Obama, lol.

Thank you for picking this up! Amazing and shocking that they obviously are deceiving the public in those meetings.

4Symbols is spot on: "it is like watching a re-run of old propaganda films". It even resembles the Volkswohlfahrt (People's Welfare), set up as a mix of Health Care and Welfare shortly after the seizure of power by the Socialists in Germany in 1933.

This also had the intention to take over the work of private charities (read private insurers) and workers' arrangements (company organized insurances) and force them out of existence. [Rinderle and Norling, 2004, p.151]. Just like Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) explains it. Thus it is meant first to eliminate the insurance industry (quote dr. Jacob Hacker:"it is premised on doing so"), and then spread its control on nearly everything, including private bank acccounts [Pg 58,59,195HC Bill]. This quite resembles the real intention of Volkswohlfahrt:

"In a sense the party tried to impose equality on the whole nation by attempting to encompass its entire social life, by establishing party organizatons of all sorts of purposes thereby letting everybody to work for the party in some way." [R&N, 2004, p.154]

I think "outsiders" should also be worried. As President Ronald Reagan said: "If we loose freedom here [the USA], there is no place to escape to, this is the last stand on earth."

Its not a good sign, that deceit with miss Hitchcock.

I have been Lori Hitchcock's best friend since the 6th grade. Everything that Lori said in her speech is true. She is now doing temp work and living in the home of a friend as she continues to seek employment in her field. I have always known her to be very passionate and committed in her beliefs, and I am very proud of her for staanding up for them, even if I don't understand the political matrix. If you were to do a background check on me, you would see that I am an apolitical Christian of the most dedicated order, who once registered as a Republican many moons ago and voted only once. Go for it!
