The first two subtitles say, if my translation is correct, “But the last thing we should do is what the Americans do, and privatize the public system —”
But the third subtitle has me stymied, and I’m hoping a Dane will help put it back into English for us.
Update: Exile has translated the third subtitle for me: “It has got the whole country talking about what should be done.”
Michael Moore seems to be all the rage in Scandinavia — as I reported last night, he was recently made an honorary citizen of Ladonia (which ordinary folk like me consider to be part of southern Sweden).
I say, let’s send him to Scandinavia to stay. Don’t you think he’d make a great Viking?
Pull that Rutgers cap off his head, put a helmet on him, have him grow out his stubble a bit, and put a big tankard of øl in his fist.
I can see him now…
Skol!
Further update: Reader SD sends this photo of Michael Moore in his future incarnation. He will, of course, have to be taught to love røget sild.

ROFLMAO, I would love to see Michael Moore reside as a permanent resident of Ladonia. I would love it if he moved to Ladonia and never left. It is most appropriate for him. Sadly this is not even possible. Ladonia is a rubble pile in a nature preserve with a few "sculptures"(if you can call them that...) by Lars Vilks'. Ladonia is Lars Vilks self-proclaimed micronation.
There's a nice picture of mr. Moore here
:-)
Once I saw a pot called. "ask and wait sat"
What about a "new comment" feature?
They have it in "The brussels Journal" site
I will say one thing in Michael Moore's favour. He did point out the involvement of Saudia Arabia in controlling the West's money markets.
Let's not forget the massive sales in Arab owned stocks and shares from the US stock market in a remarkably short space of time before the 9/11 attacks.
That has been lost in the mire of the other stuff he says, so I just thought I'd remind people about the Royal House of Saud, Wahhabism an' all.
