“Blogs just scare the pants off me, particularly when Interior people want to launch blogs and take ownership of those types of things.” he said. “We don’t allow people to go to blogs unless we know where they are, who they are and what have you.”
Whoo-ee! Prepare to live without trousers, Mr. Tipton!

According to Danny, Mr. Tipton also referred to Sean’s “Banned at DOI” logo (see above) in his speech. Congratulations, Sean! You got their attention!
There are a lot of people out there who should be scared of blogs. Information has escaped from the control of the Anointed. The results do not always reflect well on people who are used to being shielded from public scrutiny.
Mr. Tipton may be pantsless, but the Emperor is Naked.

Bloggers are the peasants with pitchforks. It's time to storm the castle, y'all.
Something's happening here
And you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?
So the truth comes out. The powers that be don't like politically incorrect blogs that lift the veil so they ban them.
So,what do we do?
We step away from our comfortable conservative enclave.
We visit leftist web / forum / blog sites and leave seeds of honest truth with a link to verify that truth.
The curious and intelligent will become informed. These are the Liberals we welcome to move rightward.
Presently I am enjoying blog forums at BBC, The Scotsman, ParisMatch and Sweden is next.
Go international, encourage the defeatest Europeans and LIVE a little.
I too have spent too much time in my comfort loop of North American conservative web / blog sites = TG
Tony,
Your comment tells me that you need to join the 910 Group, See our sidebar. :)
So, I guess it's OK if a DOI employee spends half an hour reading the sports pages in the on-line version of The Washington Post, but not if he spends the same amount of time reading a substantive, scientifically-oriented blog that is relevant to his job.
A gracious welcome and I do appreciate it. Time presses however and so in days ahead I may well decide to join in. = TG
