If you are a regular reader of Gates of Vienna, you won’t learn anything really new from this video. But all the compelling themes are there, drawn together in one neat package. It’s like a “Best of Jihad Watch“ in video format, with graphic accounts of Radical Islam in various trouble spots across the world. There are interviews with familiar faces, including Daniel Pipes and Sir Martin Gilbert.
One of the prominent themes the movie focuses on is the depraved indoctrination of children into the Palestinian death cult. There were numerous clips taken from Palestinian television in which small children — one is three years old — talk excitedly about killing the Jews and becoming martyrs for Allah. In one such example, the little girl shown at right is shouting about martyrdom in what looks like a classroom, under the encouragement of a teacher.
When the camera pulls back from her at the end of her recitation, you can see the grotesquely incongruous cartoon figures of Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, among others, on a wall in the background.
I don’t know about you, but that really gives me the creeps — to take the familiar icons of the nurseries of the West and use them as a backdrop for the indoctrination of children into the Islamic suicide-murder cult: Can you think of anything fouler than that?
I assume that Porky and Curious George and the other apes and pigs of the cartoon world were not included in the little jihadists’ school pantheon. But it made me wonder who else may be on that wall…
How about this one?
Rise and shine, kiddies!
Sing along with me:
Let’s get up and make the bed,
Get dressed and tie our shoes!
Eat our groats and brush our teeth
And then go kill the Jews!
Shahada time! Shahada time!
No greater goal have I!
I’ll blow myself to little bits
And make Crusaders die!
Sometimes, when I’m confronted with a reality this horrific, the only way I can deal with it is through humor.
There are not enough millstones on the planet to hang round the necks of these people and cast them into the sea. Of all the abominations in the world, none is worse than the deliberate destruction of children. And, in case of the Palestinians’ idea of education, the destruction of childhood itself.
We’ve grown uncomfortable with moral language. Even if one is religious — which I am — it’s difficult to talk straightforwardly about atrocity. If these people are not evil, then the word “evil” has no meaning. The destruction of children goes beyond mere badness and sociopathy and enters a zone which can only be described with the vocabulary of theology.
I’ve written before about the current confluence of events as a “Demonic Convergence”, and if anything is demonic, “Palestine” surely is. An entire culture, possessed by demons.
Robert Godwin (a.k.a. Gagdad Bob, at One Cosmos) has written frequently about what he calls “mind parasites”. These are self-replicating mental structures passed on from generation to generation by disturbed people to their disturbed children. They are destructive memes, malware of varying virulence that infects the minds of its human hosts and does incalculable damage.
The public culture of the Palestinians is infected collectively with malevolent mind parasites. The infection started decades ago, but greatly accelerated after Oslo in 1993, when the Palestinian propagandists gained unfettered access to television in order to spread their virus. We are now well into the second generation of children reared on this vile mixture.
What happens if “peace” ever comes? What peace can these children ever know, even if by some miracle the gangsters running the Palestinian Authority decide to stop their jihad against the Jews?
A former officer of the Hitler Youth is interviewed for “Obsession”. He describes how difficult it was to overcome the intensive long-term Nazi indoctrination of his childhood. He also gives his opinion that the Palestinian indoctrination of children is much worse, and much more effective, than what was inflicted on him.
Can these children ever be deprogrammed?

I'm sure Japan thought the same thing when we dropped the Bomb to end the war.
Terrorists kept at us for ten years, killing Americans, damaging our ships and buildings, killing our personnel. Finally 9/11 was the tipping point.
Think what you want, Rasheed. However, use your powers of observation: we're not putting our citizens thru shredders, there are no mass graves, we don't use biochemicals for experiments on our population like Saddam did on the Kurds.
In fact, go tell an Iraqi Kurd you think we're the Axis of Evil. He'll quit counting his money, look up at you and tell you you're a fool. And then he'll go back to counting his money again.
Read Manfred F.R.Kets De Vries book on King Shaka. I adhere to Shakas philosophy on warrior culture. It explains how to defeat an enemy such as this much better than his contemporary Clausewitz.
The first step in winning the war against Islam is to recognize the enemy and the strategy and tactics of the enemy. If you don't you have already lost the battle. This is why movies like Obsession is so important, because it helps people to connect the dots and see the bigger picture. I myself have been telling people about this stuff for a while now, and some have opened their eyes, but with showing this movie their eyes have become even more open. One person was rather critical of the actions of Israel, but came away from seeing this movie with some greater appreciation of the dangers facing the state of Israel and better understanding of why Israel have done many of the things that they have done -- when facing neighbors like they do! So while the film might be seen as preaching to the choir, it is an extremely welcome tool to inform others of the dangers of Islam. I can only hope that it will be shown to a much wider audience.
I watched Obsession and it was good in many parts, but it still muddied the picture - radical islam is not the problem, islam is, it's just the hyperviolent segment. Like that woman who says she is a Muslim, but was so truthful. If she said such things in Saudi Arabia, she would be mobbed and murdered. But she says she is still a Muslim, then you have that clown lawyer who defended OJ - he totally muddied the picture. Good but seriously flawed as well.
Can these children ever be deprogrammed? No.
'Give me a child to the age of seven...' (Was it St Augustine who wrote that?)
Jude: I believe St Augustine said a man settled upon his ultimate belief system at age 30. Hitler claimed it was age 40. I've got 40 beat and I'm still waiting for mine to concretize. Most can change their belief system if doing otherwise will get them dead instead. How do you think Islam got so many converts? But seriously, the entire nation of Japan radically changed its belief system after the war. Given a large enough trauma, I believe things can change, and Islam is about to be traumatized.
Rasheed, I disagree that the Muslims land is occupied. I'm assuming here you're referring to West Bank and Gaza.
I see the two-state solution as the original Israel/Jordan. Israel should have come into effect at the same time as Jordan, with the remaining 20% arabs of Transjordan being moved into Jordan.
West Bank and Gaza are simply land for peace appeasements steps ever since by the British and the League of Nations/United Nations.
The debate on Israel, I believe, wrongly gets started at the end of WW2, and the claim that it was a result of the haulocaust. No, the Israeli's had simply had enough since 1918!
rasheed moore:
Michael Moore converted to Islam? I can't say I'm surprised, but this is the first time I've actually heard about it.
Interesting brainwashing tactics. If a woman is raped with an American flag she spends the rest of her life hating America. These children have been mind raped by the same techniques. The Disney characters backdrop are no accident....
You know I had the same objection to Obsession, that it said radical Islam, instead of just Islam. But think of it this way, the target audience of the documentary is not people like us who already know, but rather those that are still in the dark. And if you start by saying that the problem is Islam itself, many people will not get any further and view the documentary with the utmost scepticism. So in that light I believe that the makers of the documentary took the right approach, by not making the movie too alarmist of too extreme, but enough to convince people that there is a real problem and give them a head start in educating themselves further. If we are going to get the masses to listen, the whole truth has to be served in small chunks about the size that they can digest. And this documentary makes a good first step, but it's not the final step.
And to a point the documentary is right there are a segment of the muslim world that aren't radical, and some who are only muslim in name but we don't know the extent of that group, and wih the price muslims have to pay if they are considered either kuffar or apostates if they deviate too much from the ruling views, we will most likely only be able to know the size of that faction when we are able to give them some hope that they will not be butchered by the rest of the muslims, until then they will keep a very low profile to save their own lives.
I was stupid enough to watch 60 Minutes, as it had an interview with Osama's former bodyguard, so it was bound to get me spun up for the week. Anyway, the strongest point was the very end:
[direct copy from transcript]:
Habib says he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. Abu Jandal has other ideas for his only son.
"I have great hopes for him and pray to God that he will finish what his father was not able to finish. I pray that he will become a martyr," Abu Jandal says. "Frankly, I hope that my son gets killed and becomes a martyr for the sake of God Almighty."
"You’re sitting here (Abu, talking to the interviewer), but you’re not ready to see your daughter killed for America. I, on the other hand, am ready to see my son get killed for the sake of Islam," he adds.
"That’s the difference between you and me …" Simon says.
"True ..." Abu Jandal replies.
Oh, btw, "Give me a boy until he is seven, and I will give you the man" is attributed to either St. Ignatius of Loyola or St. Francis Xavier, but used by the Jesuits.
It is not just the Palistinians. Try all the ME countries, even Jordan and Egypt.
Some of the $1.7B US bribe to stay at peace with Israel goes straight to government funded "educational" videos such as you have here.
Baron,
I watched Obsession last night on your recommendation. I'm still absorbing it. Some of the images and rhetoric are so stunning, it's almost beyond comprehension. The Islamofascist death cult is pure evil.
One of the quotes that stuck out to me was a Hamas-type talking about how they had raised up an "ideological generation" and that their children "loved death as much as their enemies love life". The sick and reprehensible nature of something like that is just bewildering. I believe their indoctrination far exceeds that of the Nazis.
Sadly, I don't know of an American network that would have the courage to broadcast a documentary like this. But, we are indeed involved in much wider war than many realize. God help us.
You know, that is horrifying but frighteningly true -- that the P.A. is a gathering ground for demonic activity. But doesn't it make sense? Demons wreck the lives of the inhabited, and then they destroy after use. What more perfect way to do this than through an ideology of hate that praises death?
