That says it all, don't it? I actually heard a Dem pundit say that Cheney would be forced to resign now, over the horrid offense of not immediately reporting a hunting accident to the Whitehouse press corps. So here we have a big portion of MSM devoting time and energy to an accident when all over the place people are being jailed and bullied and fired and harassed for exercising freedom of speech.
Well, he waited 18 hours before he reported to the Press (s'cuse me while I run to change - I laughed so hard I wet me knickers). Since when does someone have to report to the press? Call an ambulance, satisfy a police inquiry, sure. But "report" to the "press?" Then you see that it was reported to a Corpus Christi paper, so then he didn't report to the right kind of press.
I don't know of any reporter worth his salt in any era who chose waiting for an official to give a canned report over good old fashioned muckracking. They're trying to make a coverup where there is none - the world would've found out in due time what happened. Officials have their press hounds, same as celebrities - you can't pick your nose without the photo being sold to someone.
Now if the press wants a true crime coverup drama, look up the Vince Foster suicide, and find out how much time passed before Hillary gave his suicide note to the Authorities (not just the press). Old news? Sure, but what is history but a light with which to view the present.

Heh, heh, heh, isn't that the truth !
We could pick up a bucket of KFC on the way. Heard the Paks torched one of those today over those cartoons... Thought it was worth a comment.

That seems to be a common theme today. I agree with it.
Wonderful - I have to get one of those bumper stickers.
