These are the dangers facing Muslim women today.
To coin a phrase: You can't make this stuff up.
Update -- Snopes reports:
In May 2000, the Grand Mufti Sheik Nasser Farid Wassel, Egypt’s most senior religious figure, gave his opinion on the matter. The artwork was also closely scrutinized by researchers and linguists at the Ifta’a Institute, a scholarly authority on Islamic law. All found no harm.
"The trademark does not injure Islam or Muslims directly or indirectly," the mufti ruled. In an official statement, he found that "the trademark was designed 114 years ago in the state of Georgia and was written in a foreign language, not in Arabic," and that "no one had objected until now."

Pretty amazing stuff! It reminds me of all the satanic messages people hear when they play records backwards.... Must be some short-circuited neural pathways that make these amazing things happen!
Dr. Sanity--
You mean the tin-foil hat crew? The ones who heard messages in the Beatles played backwards? I suppose some of those left-overs are your patients now...
I rather think it's not short-circuited neural pathways so much as missing synapses. Billions of them. Gone.

I always figured your blogname must mean something like AMDG. No?
God has a whimsical sense of humor. You have to be Him to get it. He says I can either laugh or cry and in that choice lies my freedom.
Deo gratias, man.
I may have to start drinking more Coke now...
As Voltaire put it:
God is a comedian playing to an audience too scared to laugh.
This is a prime example.
I can't say the backwards logo doesn't come remarkably close to the message inferred, it's a *heck* of a lot closer than most backwards music "Satanic" messages.
It seems preposterous to presume that it's intended... of course, the recent speech by the Pepsi spokeswoman about America being "the middle finger" certainly says they are less pro-America than Coke, apparently... lol
