Please find below an email sent to the CEO at Zacchaeus 2000. I have not yet received a reply, but perhaps this is for the best as I would undoubtedly be uncomfortable working with an organisation which appears to endorse the work of the Muslim Council of Britain.
I quote from a passage on the z2k website, written by the Chairman, Reverend Paul Nicolson:
“The list also includes Caritas Social Action Network, the Muslim Council of Great Britain, the Children’s and the Pensioners’ Charities and the National Consumer Council.”
I also note that the Reverend Paul Nicolson co-signed a letter to the Guardian concerning child poverty on 19 April 2009 which included the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain as one of the signatories.
Suffice it to say I do not think the interests of the poor or the wider community are served by associating in any way whatsoever with an organisation such as the Muslim Council of Britain, and I would recommend that the [name of charity omitted] proceeds with caution in its future dealings with Zacchaeus 2000 which appears to lack focus in this area.
Thank you for taking the trouble to reply at length, and I admit that much of what you say makes sense — particularly the thought that the poor do not care whose hand feeds them — I would have no wish to argue with this particular point.
However, I will not work with an organisation which shares a platform or works with the Muslim Council of Britain — this is my line.
I do not believe the MCB is working for the common good, I support none of their objectives, and, furthermore, consider their prominence and influence in British public life an unfolding disaster: the only valid response in my opinion is a firm rejection of their message, and this includes a refusal to work with organisations with whom they associate in whatever capacity, whether it is poverty alleviation, interfaith work or community cohesion.

It should come as no surprise that in certain circles the MCB are seen and treated with ridicule, and if one is engaged in a war then moments of mirth do have their value — link to a post issued today, 1 July, which connects them with the Moonies (Universal Peace Federation):“We’re quite used to link ups between Islamists and neo Nazis and Islamists and Communists. But I really really did not expect this. The Muslim Council of Britain and their main cheerleaders, Bob Lambert’s European Muslim Research Centre, are now in bed with … the Moonies !”
Yet it is my belief that the MCB manages to retain credibility, respectability, call it what you will, precisely because misguided organisations such as Zacchaeus 2000 continue to offer them a platform to carry out work with the poor while ignoring their highly dubious credentials.
The interests of the poor and the wider community are not served in any way whatsoever by this sort of short-termism. In other words if the aim is to build healthy, integrated communities, the members of which lead contented and fulfilling lives free of the scourge of injustice and poverty then you should have a pretty clear idea of who or what the barriers are: it may be greedy bankers, thoughtless FSA regulators, fickle politicians or morally-corrupt community leaders who have been given too much space to spread their poison.
The commission investigated the charity Interpal, which aims to help Palestinians, twice — and cleared it twice. John Ware, the BBC reporter, then looked at Interpal for Panorama. He alleged that Interpal’s donations helped to build up Hamas, an organisation designated “terrorist” by the EU. Interpal claims that all the relevant charities were exclusively concerned with “humanitarian need”. Nevertheless, charitable funds are not supposed to benefit any political movement. Made aware of Mr Ware’s allegations, the commission admitted that its investigations “had not been in depth”, and promised a new one. That was over a year ago. The commission has yet to report its conclusions.
Bridge building
During the Commission’s inquiry, a home office official is reported to have expressed concern that any adverse finding against Interpal that blocked funds might have a significant effect on community cohesion.
Over the years, Interpal has generated considerable support amongst some MPs, is venerated by virtually every Islamic organisation here and is relied upon by thousands of ordinary Muslim donors wishing to relieve hardship in Gaza and the West Bank.
The Commission is a non ministerial department of government and says it is independent of ministerial influence.
Interpal however appears to be claiming the semi-official imprimatur of government. Even while the charity was under investigation for links to Hamas in 2007, minutes from Interpal trustees say that a “delegation of Interpal Trustees met with officials from the British Embassy in Jordan and together paid a visit to many partner NGOs in the region.”
The minutes also mention a visit to Lebanon in August 2007 in which a “member of the British security agencies” joined them and “included a meeting with the British Ambassador and UNESCWA” — the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West Asia.
Even so, the fact that a charity banned by several UK allies and under investigation at home was — apparently — given voluntary diplomatic services might now raise a few eyebrows.
Eight years ago this week, I gave my first speech about the threat of radical Islam to America and the world at a small temple in my hometown where I shared what I had survived as a child going through life in an underground bomb shelter. That speech ignited a fire within me and made me realize my purpose. That day I experienced what it is like to be an American. Eight years ago I launched American Congress for Truth and began speaking all over the country, educating Americans about the threat of radical Islam to world peace and our national security. I eventually learned that education is important, but it is not sufficient. Education must be coupled with action.
ACT! for America was launched in 2007. Today we are the largest national security grassroots movement in the US. We are 110,000 members strong; we have over 400 chapters nationwide with a full time lobbyist on Capitol Hill. We have helped introduce and pass legislation, and influenced elected officials as well as major corporations to make right things that were wrong! Tonight I am surrounded by leaders who are doing something for their country. Who are standing up in defense of our security, our liberty and our freedoms. What makes America great is the spirit or its people.
Our founding fathers, worked tirelessly setting the foundation for the great nation we have today. They gave us our Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights. Many of them died broke in the process and many of our ancestors died on the battlefield fighting to preserve that which these bold and visionary men created. The least we can do is protect the greatness which they have established for us and our future generations.
Since America was born, each generation of Americans were called to stand up as a beacon of light to the world, to fight evil and spread justice. Only few generations throughout our history have been entrusted with the privilege to demonstrate their loyalty to our constitution and values. Few have had the honor to serve in a leadership role either as soldiers in the battlefield or citizen volunteers supporting in the home front. As America stood up against and defeated communism and Nazism, now is our time to stand up and defeat Islamofascism.
Today we are summoned to lead in our communities and our nation. We are summoned to wake up the apathetic and inspire the despaired, to silence the liars and educate the patriots. For if we fail to inform the ignorant, we will fail to save the informed.
It is time to throw political correctness in the garbage. It is time to silence the apologists for America. I am sick and tired of hearing people say I am an African-American, I am a Spanish-American, I am a Chinese-American — I am nothing but an American! I have a message to those who hate America, who speak ill of America who want to change America, Please get the heck out of here and back to whatever country you came from and leave this nation to us.
English is the only official language of the United States and shall remain so. We believe in freedom of speech, we believe in freedom of expression, and if you are offended by our way of life don’t let the door hit on your way out.
One lesson I learned very early on in life: people treat you the way you allow them to treat you. Evil dwells when courageous men become bystanders. Lies spread when the informed become silent. Society deteriorates when apathy replaces activism. Tyranny comes when leaders become mediocre and haters become organized.
This is why we are here tonight at this conference because each one of us is a leader and an instrument of change with history as our final judge. Some give money and some give of their time, but together we build the largest national security organization this country has ever seen. We ACT for America with joy in our hearts and pride in our soul. The excitement, the energy, the dedication embodied in this room tonight and in our organization nationwide are the spark that will light the torch in the hearts and minds of millions of frustrated Americans who want to see our nation protected from those who are driven to do us harm.
We have been blessed so generously by this country. Much is given; much is required. As important as all other causes are, none is more important than our national security and freedom, for if we are ruled by tyranny or killed by terrorists, all other causes will not matter. May we go forth from this meeting into our nation renewed with passion, with information, and with new friendships, so we may be worthy of walking in our forefather’s footsteps and deserving of the honor of serving and preserving our nation for the future generation of America.

A number of Chinese provinces and municipalities have made a concession to striking workers by raising the minimum wage. Labor trouble has been so widespread that the government was forced to take note of it and act.
As the human mind is inarguably the ultimate resource our species possesses, it endows unlimited power and wealth upon those who can control it, particularly en masse. Be they priests or politicians, or an unholy alliance of both, those who seek to gain such control so define their ultimate objective. The suppression or subordination of a group identity has always been the principal determinant in the enslavement or extermination of one tribe by another. It is both the essential precursor to and the sine qua non of abiding conquest.
In the UK these Dragons are the white lower middle and working classes (at least those not yet totally disenfranchised by welfare vampirism) who, burdened with the greatest loss of freedom and resources, seek relief with a rising and consummate anger. They are both the hammer and the anvil that could re-shape the alien rod that is breaking their backs, and they are becoming legion.
Rebranding Puts Black Marks Against UK Flag- - - - - - - - -
Britain’s national flag — the union jack — has been given the makeover treatment, in the hope of reflecting a more modern society.
It’s become the marketing executive’s remedy for any organisation’s ills. From BT to BP, the Labour Party to the Lottery, hardly a business or institution has escaped the rebranding bug.
Now moves are afoot to redesign that most sacred of British hallmarks — the union flag.
A campaign is being launched to modernise the red, white and blue flag by adding a touch of black to reflect multicultural Britain in the 21st Century.
The proposed new flag (see above) is the work of Nigel Turner, an enthusiastic fan of the UK’s transformation into a multiracial society over the past 50 years.
Mr Turner, who has called his campaign Reflag, believes his plan would reclaim the union jack from its negative associations, and silence that old skinhead chant: “There ain’t no black in the union jack.”
“If I flew the union jack from a flagpole in my garden, many people would see it as a racist statement,” he says.
“I’m a glass half-full, rather than half-empty sort of person. It’s time we made a positive statement about the progression of a multicultural and multiracial society.”

Mr Turner, 46, who is white, hopes to spark a debate on the flag. He would like to see a new design replace the current union jack for the flag’s 400th anniversary in 2006.
“The proposed design does not mean throwing out all that has gone before, and it is clearly recognisable as the flag of the UK without saying something new.”
But as makeovers go, even a designer as thick-skinned as Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen would think twice about treading into such perilous territory.
The so-called “union black” has already raised the ire of the Scottish. Tuesday’s Scotsman newspaper said Mr Turner had “missed the point”.
“The United Kingdom is not a firm which changes its corporate branding each time the management alters. The flag is an enduring symbol of unity which transcends politics and absorbs cultural change.”
MSP Phil Gallie told the Scottish Parliament: “The suggestion that our flag should be redesigned is ridiculous tokenism and would do nothing to stamp out racism.”

Iranian politician calls Lars Løkke [Danish Prime Minister] ‘stupid’ and ‘anti-Muslim’ and predicts that Copenhagen will end up with Muslim majority.
Iran’s UN delegate in Human Rights affairs, Mohammad J. Larijani, gave an interview on Iranian State TV 15th June, here translated by a resident Iranian.
“Larijani (Iran’s Human Rights delegate) says that Denmark’s Prime Minister is an idiot and is anti-Muslim. He says that by 2025 Copenhagen will be the first European city with a majority of Muslim citizens. What do you think?” writes ‘aabbddoouullaahh’, who uploaded this video to YouTube.
The video is an excerpt from a several hours long interview which Mohammad J. Larijani gave to Iranian State TV, and was translated by an Iranian living in Denmark. The statements about Denmark are at the end of the video.
They don’t understand our punishment of whipping
At a UN Human Rights Conference in Geneva on 15th February, Mohammad J. Larijani defended Iran against accusations of breaches of human rights. In the interview on Iranian TV he explains that the West does not understand the punishment of whipping and therefore accuses Iran [of breaching human rights]. The UN does not agree; official figures from the Tehran regime state that 47 people have died during demonstrations, and that more than 5000 critics of the regime are in prison.
Mohammad Larijani also took the opportunity to repeat the allegation that the much-publicised killing of Neda Agha Soltan, who was shot 20th June last year, was carried out by “foreign powers”.
Tory MP Phillip Hollobone has caused a stir by introducing legislation in Parliament to ban the burqa in the UK. No fewer than nine articles in tonight’s news feed concern this horrifying example of racist Islamophobia.
Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was the last speaker of the afternoon, and gave a brief account of the accelerating Islamization of Austria and the rest of the EU, and why it matters to the United States. She struck a chord with the audience, and a lot of listeners approached her afterwards to ask questions and offer their assistance. One of my major goals is to help Americans understand why the European Counterjihad is important to the United States, and Elisabeth’s efforts are a valuable part of that process.
The functionality of non-profit organizations generally flows from the top down, so much of the credit for the success of ACT is due to Brigitte Gabriel herself. She is gracious and inspirational to rank-and-file members, giving them the credit they deserve and encouraging them in all their local initiatives. As a result she has assembled an effective national staff, both paid and volunteer, with a focus on legislative action that has generated real results.
Football Player Murdered in Södertälje Shooting- - - - - - - - -
Eddie Moussa, a player with Swedish second division football club Assyriska was one of the two men shot dead in a gambling club in Södertälje near Stockholm on Wednesday night, according to a statement on the club’s webpage.
The Superettan club was due to play an away match against Ängelholms FF this evening but the match has been cancelled, according to a statement on the Swedish Football Association homepage.
Police are continuing their search for three men seen leaving the premises by moped shortly after the shooting which, according to a report in the Aftonbladet daily, could have been an criminal underworld hit.
“It occurred in the Ronna shopping precinct, in Café Oasen,” said Johan Sjöholm at Södertälje police to news agency TT on Thursday morning.
The premises where the men were shot is a known gambling club.
“With regards to gambling clubs problems emerge from time to time. It can’t be ruled out that the shooting concerns gambling debts,” said Björn Engström at Stockholm police.
Police received a call over the shooting at around 2.20am on Thursday morning. Police officers from across the county have been called in to assist the search for the three men.
According to witnesses three men came into the premises and began shooting, according to Mari Olofsson at Stockholm county police.
Police believe the perpetrators left the scene by moped, but witness testimony is unclear on this point. The moped was later found in the area, after having been set alight.
“We are going through all the information now, we shall then decide which direction to take the investigation. The victims have to be identified and relatives informed,” Engström said.
The condition of the third victim, who is being cared for at Södertälje hospital, is reported by the police to be stable.
Eddie Moussa is a Swedish and Dominican citizen of Lebanese-Assyrian extraction. He played his debut for Assyriska FF, a club which played one season in Sweden’s Allsvenskan top-flight after winning promotion in 2004.
The club, which was founded only in 1974, has a large following in Södertälje and is considered by many to be a substitute national team for the Assyrian people.
European Union Now Warns of Civil War and the Return of Dictatorships in Europe- - - - - - - - -

At a meeting of union leaders, EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso warned of apocalyptic conditions. He said, if the financial resources made available to bankrupt EU countries should not be sufficient, (which was foreseeable), there would soon be civil wars and possibly military putsches in the EU. Barroso told the visibly shocked union leaders: In countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal, democracy would very quickly be a thing of the past. Dictatorship would return. In some states, a military putsch would be a threat. The danger of civil wars in some countries would become more likely, because coffers would be empty, but citizens would want a continuation of their accustomed social services.
The EU head of government’s remarks are being quoted worldwide by leading media (for instance in the London Daily Mail), just not in Germany. Reason: In several meetings the federal government had asked the media chiefs to whitewash the situation inside the EU, for reasons of political correctness. Not until a few days ago did the EU leadership let it be known that the social system in almost all EU countries is verging on collapse.
For example, to avert unrest, for some time leading German media have not been permitted to report truthfully about the fact that citizens will get back about 15% less from life insurance than they have put in. Even when economics professor Hans-Werner Sinn speaks of the coming crisis of state in Germany, the German “system” media mention it only sporadically. Furthermore, weeks ago the intelligence services went so far as to predict wars in connection with the horrendous government debt. Yet leading German journalists must lie and withhold the truth from the public. The chancellor told them to do that.
Therefore, the latest remarks of President Jose Manuel Barroso about imminent civil war in Europe are not at all surprising. For some time, the federal government has been commissioning secret reports listing all those areas of Germany where it expects severe internal unrest in the future.
