A Libyan student in Australia on a scholarship has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting seven females.

Almahde Ahmad Atagore, 28, is charged with assaulting the girls and women, aged between 13 and 22, during last August and September.

He pleaded guilty in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today to five counts of indecent assault and single counts of indecent assault of a child under 16 and assault with intent to rape.

The assaults happened at Mentone and Flinders Street train stations and outside and around the Mentone Hotel.
