Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/6/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/6/2011Two package bombs — described as “flash” devices — exploded today at two different state government mail-processing centers in Maryland, one in Hanover and one in Annapolis. One person was slightly injured. The state’s governor was the addressee on one of the packages. All state mail facilities have been closed while state and federal authorities investigate.

In other news, the Amsterdam police chief says that he will not enforce a proposed ban on the burqa. He has been commended for his tolerance and courage by the traditional Islamic society As-Soennah.

Re: John Wheeler's murder, I usually don't want to go the conspiracy theory route, but I read that about a week before he was killed, some smoke bombs went off in the house of his neighbor, whom he was suing over a land use issue. The authorities think he planted them.

After reading about what kind of man Wheeler was, I'm confident he didn't do that. He had a lawyer, and no matter what kind of stress he was under, someone like him would just take it and work within the system. And the people who planted those bombs and killed him know that as well, so it looks like the killers want people to know how trashy their process is, i.e. they're thugs, working for some foreign government.

This story needs to stay on the front burner.

French Foreign and European Affairs Minister Michele Alliot-Marie has warned here about “unreasoned” fear of Islam and about confusing moderate Muslims with radical or fundamentalist parties.
end quote.

Too late.
A knowledge of history and the content of the Islamic faith should make fear of Muslims an appropriate and rational thing for non-Muslims.
My faith is in God.
Not in frail human beings who have been led into error.

"The state has to understand the urgency of the problem,” says Naim Elghandour, president of the Muslim Association of Greece. “Most of the Muslim migrants pouring into Greece have escaped persecution and famine, and the last thing they can hold onto is their faith.
end quote.

I would remind this ignorant individual that the Christian children who were kidnapped and enslaved from Greece during the Ottoman period were not allowed to hold onto their faith, their names, their identities or their aspirations.
One evil turn deserves another, and the crimes of Islam against Greece are far from forgotten.
I have no sympathy.
Expel the Muslims from Greece and the West. Now.
