Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/9/2010

Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/9/2010The United States has promised to ship military supplies — including unarmed drones — to Pakistan for use in the fight against the Taliban. The Indian defense minister has warned the US against making such shipments, expressing his concern that Pakistan may divert the materiel for use against India.

In other news, UNRWA, the United Nations agency that acts as a cash cow and terror enabler for Palestinian “refugees”, is running out of money. Its commissioner has issued an appeal, warning that the agency will have to cut back services to schools and health agencies if donor nations don’t make up the deficit.

Pakistan already has a huge supply of "unarmed drones". They're better known to the outside world as madrasah students.

Instead, we should be sending plenty of armed drones to Pakistan with the slight difference that they remain guided by us.
