Geert Wilders in Beverly Hills

Last Saturday night, under the auspices of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Geert Wilders spoke to an audience in Beverly Hills about freedom of speech and his movie Fitna.

Geert Wilders in Beverly Hills

To the left in the photo you can see print #1 of Kurt Westergaard’s Mohammed cartoon, which had been auctioned off immediately prior to his speech. As I mentioned on Saturday, a signed and numbered limited edition of the Turban Bomb print is being sold to raise money for the International Free Speech Society, which co-sponsored the event in Beverly Hills. For more information on purchasing these prints, see my earlier post.

Here’s what Mr. Wilders had to say at the Beverly Hilton:

Since I met Geert Wilders in Washington on February 26th, his party — the Party for Freedom — has become the most popular political party in the Netherlands:
- - - - - - - - -
(Angus Reid Global Monitor) — The far-right Party for Freedom (PVV) [acronym corrected — BB] is rapidly gaining popularity in the Netherlands, according to a poll by Maurice de Hond. A prospective tally of seats shows the PvdV would get 32 mandates in the next legislative election, up four since mid-March.

The ruling Christian-Democratic Appeal (CDA) is second with 27 seats, followed by the Labour Party (PvdA) with 22, Democrats 66 with 18, the Socialist Party (SP) with 17, and the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) with 15. Support is lower for the Green Left (GL), the Christian Union (CU), the Party for the Animals (PvdD), the Reformed Political Party (SGP), and Proud of the Netherlands (ToN).

In just five weeks, the PVV has moved from second to first place, and would gain six seats in parliament. If an election were held today, Geert Wilders would become the next prime minister of Holland.

So things are looking up for the Counterjihad — at least in the Netherlands.

Many thanks for posting this speech. I hope Geert does indeed become Netherlands PM.

We need one western domino to go in the direction of conserving the host society instead of the multicult scam where anyone who doesn't agree with his country's one-of-a-kind culture being extinguished in favor of one that calls 57 countries its own gets called a bigot.

Bigots are those who cannot let a single country for French culture, one for Italian, one for German, one for British etc. stand but must make them all umma-compatible. Meanwhile, none of the 57 states comprising the present umma make any other religion, race or culture welcome and therein lies the future of countries who admit Muslims. What an idiotic system we've been bludgeoned into by the PC leftists in our midst. Muslims get to claim "What's ours stays ours and what's yours is ours too". That's the inexorable way to the world-wide caliphate.

There need not be any marked hostility toward immigrants, merely the same firmness of purpose Muslims bring to their colonization project, i.e. thousands of individual acts of push back to sharia creep, thousands of acts pressing for assimilation. The first act should be removal of all government funding for multicult projects. No classes in immigrant languages, only the host country's official languages etc.

May God preserve the life of Geert Wilders who will inevitably be the target of assassination attempts by extremist Muslims or their leftist domestic enablers. He is literally the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dyke against the Muslim deluge that wants to engulf us all.

If there is one bold man who has still now not succumed to Jihadi pressure and buckled them it is Greet Wilders.

Thanks a ton for sharing.

I wish Geert would indeed become PM so that we Germans could ask the Dutch to annex Germany :D

Why do I say this? Because in Germany the situation is a good deal more complicated politically-wise. We have some fledgling conservative movements but the accusation and perhaps actual occurrence of antisemite-nazist involvement in these (e.g. pro Köln) is a huge obstacle in winning over fed-up citizens.

I too hope Geert Wilders gets to be PM. As the islamization process in Europe is moving along like a steam train we need him to get into parliament soon while it still is possible. I believe they are going to use the hate speech-legislation to ban all parties critical of islam and massimmigration. Soon we might all be forced to go underground or face jailtime.

A great speech by a great man! I wish Mr. Wilders all the best in the next election. Islam is a dagger aimed at the heart of Europe and the West in general, either we find to the political will to resist this totalitarian ideology or our children will live in a very different world...
