Sharia Patrols in London, Revisited

Yesterday we reported on a group of young Muslim men who accost pedestrians in certain parts of east London. They insist that their turf is a “Muslim area”, and require that non-Muslims observe the appropriate dress code and the Islamic proscription on alcohol while they are there. The original post included an embedded video taken by the group and posted on their YouTube account.

Since then YouTube has yanked the video, on the grounds that it was “intended to harass, bully and threaten.” However, for the sake of the historical record of these dire times, Vlad Tepes has preserved a (slightly augmented) copy at MRC TV:

I look forward to the day when Christian patrols are on the streets repelling these invaders. Why on earth don't they go to a muslim land if they are so unhappy living amongst us; rhetorical question.

A reminder about comments:

*No name-calling.

*No comments in ALL CAPS. That is considered yelling and as we've said many times, moderate discourse is the rule. Yelling isn't moderate.

*No broad-brush contempt for all members of a group. That is a leftist rhetorical device, often on display by those who condemn conservatives out-of-hand.

*No mention of body parts or other crude language.

In other words, converse as though your mother, your very young children, and your monarch were in the room.

Some of you may find these rules restrictive and you'd be right. But we get many emails thanking us for setting this tone in our comment section. There is no shortage of other places:free-wheeling and studded with profanity all the way down the page. There you will receive a warm welcome for your rhetorical choices.

But not here. Here we're dull and predictably boring and we ask you to tone it down when you come in the door.

Thanks.

@ John:

If you're waiting for exclusively Christian patrols you've got a long wait. I mean why do these folks need to be Christian at all??

All one needs is someone sufficiently patriotic, someone who values peaceable streets and equitable treatment. It will require a willingness to stand up to bullies and someone who accepts the possibility of a long stretch in gaol for attempting to protect what he loves.

Christian beliefs are neither necessary or sufficient for the job, but the habit of prayer will stand one in good stead during the long hours of confinement after you're hauled in.

The police are not on your side, even though they were once known as the peacekeepers. But what are you to them? You don't sign their paychecks and you can be of no help to them in their careers.

From all appearances (ask Kevin Carroll) the police follow orders from the top. And the orders entail a final goal of making Britain part of the Ummah. Those police are rather like a modern version of the Janissaries. Only they get to keep their gonads. At least for the moment they do.

After viewing the video, I fail to understand why YouTube removed the original. Was it to protect the Muslims? Or was it to shield the policeforce for not keeping the peace and moving the Muslims on? YouTube are now censoring too much.

I think there are more sharia patrols in the UK than this.

Sharia patrols ? Are you sure they are not out there looking for drunken
young White girls,or underagers to groom and rape, then they should be called the ''Paedo Patrol''. And still the bovine British public are
in denial, more sad creatures who
don't want to hear the truth.
