Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/7/2012The day after Barack Hussein Obama was re-elected President of the United States, the maker of the notorious and blasphemous Mohammed movie, Mark Basseley Youssef (a.k.a. Nakoula Basseley Nakoula), was sentenced to a year in prison for violating the terms of his parole.

In other news, the Spanish government revised its estimate of the country’s annual deficit upwards by two points to 8% of GDP. The prospect of a continuing recession makes it that much more difficult for Spain to implement the austerity measures necessary to bring the deficit down.

Last week I was in sunny Spain.In my local bar there was a new member of staff, a chap called Yuri. I expect he was Russian or Ukranian. Nothing against the chap, but why would they be importing foreign workers when so many of their own are unemployed?
