I was away from home most of the day, and when I got back, it seemed that almost everyone I know in Britain has been arrested.
I already knew about the arrest of Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll (more on that when I gather sufficient information); I learned that yesterday. Now I find out that Sgt. Plod has also laid his apprehending hands on Paul Weston, the chairman of the British Freedom Party.
Here’s what George posted at the British Freedom website a little while ago:
Paul Weston Arrested Outside Wormwood Scrubs
By George Whale, 21:20 Monday
I have just received an urgent telephone call from British Freedom leader Paul Weston who has been arrested outside Wormwood Scrubs Prison*.
Speaking from the back of a police van being driven to an unknown destination, Paul hurriedly informed me that he and a friend had travelled to the prison in West London this evening with the aim of visiting Tommy Robinson, or at least assuring themselves of his well-being.
Speaking through a glass panel they had asked officers at the prison to confirm that Tommy was being held there, but they refused to provide this information, citing the ‘Data Protection Act’. Paul and his friend again demanded to know where Tommy was being held, and at that point both were charged with breach of the peace, arrested and bundled into the police van.
Our conversation was cut off with Paul loudly remonstrating to an unidentified individual, “take your hands off me!”
We will update you on the situation as it unfolds.
Same for me — I’ll post more when it comes in.
By the way, I’ve heard that Tommy is being held in Wandsworth Prison (wherever that is).

UNREAL.
"HM Prison Wandsworth is a Category B men's prison at Wandsworth in the London Borough of Wandsworth, south west London, England. It is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service and is the largest prison in London and thought[by whom?] to be the largest in Western Europe." (wiki)
I wonder if they thought they could get away with arresting David Cameron, Nick Clegg, Ed Milliband, or even Nigel Farange in such a manner.
Is this big news in the UK?
A non-violent march on parliment is in order, demanding the release of Paul Weston, Kevin Carrol, and Tommy Robinson. I bet you could get wide support from civil libertarians to join you. This is outrageous.

Ann Barnhardt summarized her situation today as "Baiting 1.2 billion musloids to kill me in order to demonstrate how real men are supposed to act, shutting down my firm and baiting the Chicago and GoldMorgan Sachs filth, declaring a Federal Tax strike, liquidating my estate and preparing for homelessness and/or incarceration, and all the while writing volumes and volumes of educational, entertaining and hopefully edifying essays with ZERO compensation or monetization in the hopes of doing just a tiny bit of good and leaving some sort of record that this civilization wasn't totally braindead."
The deeper the straits of the West and the clearer the ruling elite's evil and stupidity, the harsher the repression is going to be. It'll all break at the end, but after claiming many victims. The least we owe to those who are alredy victims is respect and support in every way we can.

This is Nazi-ism. Herr Hitler would be proud of David Cameron and the British Policeforce.
I am English and am ashamed of what the present UK has become.
When is sanity returning to the UK?
Britain has been marching into a Police State for ten years. The EDL is a firm supporter of the Monarch, so I presume they support the constitutional changes effected in the last ten years.
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
Which is why the lower classes are rising first. The proletariat as it were. The revolution wont be Marxist in nature....but rather Burkean.

Britain is obviuosly a totalitarian country. The native land of Orwell is making "1984" a reality. Bizarre but true. Hope Paul Weston and Tommy Robinson soon will regain their freedome without being harmed bodily or mentally and keep on fighting!

UKplc - these persons of interest have been removed for violations of our Terms and Conditions.
The UK has been a police state since the miners' strike - British conservatives are in total denial of that fact.
You can feel the political atmosphere of uncertainty in the UK, a coming storm that has been brewing for thirty years.
The diffusion of the political lexicon and clouded ideologies makes the political parameters of any potential internecine difficult to analyse and define.

Using this (With a Hat Tip back to you.) in a posting for tomorrow at Monkey in the Middle.
I am shocked at the actions in Great Britain.
