Our Norwegian correspondent The Observer just sent this update, which confirms my suspicions:
I’m including some additional information relating to the niqab promotion tour in Norway. It turns out that one of the main sponsors receives direct Government funding (what a surprise).
Here’s the translated excerpt from another article in VG.no:
The tour is sponsored by the Norwegian non-fiction Writers and Translators Association (NFF) and the organization Les! The latter receives an annual sum of NOK 2.8 million in operational support from the government through the Norwegian Council for Cultural Affairs.
That is, 2.8 million kroner (about $470,000) is being supplied by Norwegian taxpayers to support an enthusiastic supporter of the Taliban as she tours the country promoting the Islamic veil.
And the Norwegian establishment demonizes Fjordman, just because he opposes mass immigration, especially Islamic immigration.
It doesn’t get any crazier than this, not even in San Francisco.

A reminder about the immigration restriction petition in the UK. Please vote! No to 70 million.
Its a very mild proposition, so mild that in theory no one could disagree with it. It only needs 100,000 signatures to be debated in parliament and has gone well past that now but the more signatures, the louder the message.
touting the personal values which inspire her to wear the niqab.
the koran by schizophrenic mohammad imposes the potato bag on her.
qur'an 33:59 "prophet! Tell your wives and daughters and all muslim women to draw cloaks and veils all over their bodies (screening themselves completely except for one or two eyes to see the way). That will be better."
