The European Union has decided to go ahead and impose new sanctions against Iran. Baroness Ashton says the EU foreign ministers made the decision despite Tehran’s threat to close the Strait of Hormuz to oil traffic if the West takes any additional measures against Iran.
In other news, some analysts believe that the uprising in Syria is on verge of turning into a full-blown civil war.

ALERT: Wordpress has removed the anti-Islam info-Blog "Bare Naked Islam" from its domain in an all out attack on free speech and a bar-fisted censorship policy that should put all its other bloggers on notice.(Time to bug out if you value free speech.)
