[We have] just learned from Martin Brennan, a former leader of the Australian EDL, is being sought after by the British police for some unknown reason.
According to Brennan, he has participated in the Tower Hamlets demonstration, as well as the wreath laying ceremony at the American embassy in downtown London on 9/11. He also attended with the EDL Anjem Choudary’s disgraceful gathering for the purpose of burning the US flag on the same day.
Martin says he also took the time to hurl some insults at Choudary and his group on the day, during which time he was assaulted by a police officer. He managed to record footage of this.
Martin Brennan also informs the TT that he has on his phone some video from the 9/11 demo. He was outside the main body of the EDL, and so captured some interesting things there. He was supposed to head back to a friend’s house to upload it to a pc and then to youtube, but changed his mind and stayed on in town.
According to an anonymous source, police intelligence have just been around to a friend’s house looking for him, offering money for intelligence on Brennan. He said he didn’t know where Martin was. According to the anonymous source, the police said: “we’ll pay for you to go to some demos plus a bit of extra in your pockets to tell us who’s who and what’s what”. That’s a direct quote from Martin according to the anonymous source.
According to the unnamed source, Matthew’s response was a rather direct:”F* off, I’ll do ten years in prison instead.”
But back to Martin. The long arm of British law is crashing down on dissent, it appears that his having some phone video footage of a police officer breaking the law is the catalyst for the hunt. After all, while he was filming them, they were filming him. If he does indeed have video evidence of police brutality against EDL members, then there would be a need to get it before it’s uploaded to You Tube.
You may remember — or not — when Matt Stiddon was detained by the police last week. First they searched his house, including his garden, for several hours. They also searched the belongings of his roommate —
— and the roommate happens to be the ‘Martin’ named above. Matt doesn’t mention search warrants but I suppose they were duly filed. After looking through Matt things and spending a long time searching Martin’s possessions, including several trips out to their vehicle with Martin’s papers, they took Matt in to the station. There, they spent six hours searching his computer, copying information, etc. Finally, that night they let him go after telling him to appear in court in November.
As Matt said then:
I have had threats of violence, been followed and had my Landrover Discovery set on fire by the left-wing nut jobs that plague our country, the police even know the group responsible, yet no arrests or questioning to these people have been made to date.[my emphasis – D]
When I first chose this path I understood that not only would I be fighting the jihad and its many forms but the politicians, the police and the appeasers of the left, this is the reality that we find ourselves in, in today’s world. I am [not] the first person to say I would rather not do this but until the powers to be take control of this situation then I will always be standing for human rights…
Yes, he’ll be standing…until they’ve knocked him and many others like him to their knees. But he, and we are the racists, the wrong-doers. Back when I knew it would come to this, I had no idea the police would turn into a Gestapo-arm of the state so quickly, so seamlessly.
Yet here we are, done so smoothly we never saw it coming. I sure hope they get that piece of film loaded to YouTube before the police find the phone. Will they pay for doing that, for revealing the criminal actions of the police? They already are paying. It will just be another installment.

If the British police were as intent on chasing Muslim terrorists and their supporters as they are EDL members, Britain would be a safer place. Britain's leftist cancer must be near terminal now that it riddles the police force, usually a last bastion of conservatism and patriotism.

Sounds like my kinda guy.
Too bad how those if us who are most vocal about the threat of Islam and shari'a continue to meet with opposition from all quarters.
Maybe one day, those in the counterjihad and elsewhere will realize that muffling even moderately powerful voices only serves the ends of Islam.

Should not be that difficult to upload the video, would imagine the sooner the video is in the public domain the sooner the heat will dissipate from the chase.
I agree with Jolie Rouge, why hasn't this video been uploaded? That should be quick and easy to do.
Sadly too many ifs and buts with this story. I wish it were totally true but at this point I sadly have some doubts.ouratic
