Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has been arrested in London on a Swedish warrant that accuses him of sexual assault. He refused to waive extradition, and has been remanded in custody until a hearing on December 14th.
In other news, Josip Broz Tito’s grandson, Josip “Joska” Broz, has officially registered a new Communist party in Serbia, and expects to do well in his country’s next elections.

It is pathetic how any prominent left wingers are jumping to the defence of Assange's right for free speech. But where were they with Geert Wilders.
They conjure up conspiracies for the Swedish arrest warrant but ignored the blatant show trail and biased judges of Wilders.
This fuss about Assange is not about principles but a parochial ideological offensive.
My prediction: the sexual assault charge against Assange will be dismissed on a technicality. Geoffrey Robertson left wing network is too powerful and far reaching (meaning: into Sweden) to allow any other outcome.
In hoc signo vinces
The left are so good at making the right throw the bath water (internet) out with the baby (Assange). How will Europe clean its dirty laundry without the bath water hanging Assange out to dry will be like giving sites like GoV the kiss of death.
I think "Tito" was his nickname, so it would be Josip "Tito" Broz.
