The News from France

One of the editors at the French site Bivouac-ID sends this brief summary of recent events in France, and includes links for the Francophones among our readers (or for those willing to use Google translation):

In France, we’ve had a very, very unexpected debate on a French TV, between two women (one of Turkish origin, one of Algerian origin), a debate in which Islam and Muslim immigration was just burnt to the ground. In case you read and understand French, here are text and video.

Otherwise, tomorrow, the 4th of September, an official anti-Islamization demonstration will be held, organized by the same people who held the “saucisson-pinard” (wine and pork sausage) rally against street prayers.

See this post, and here’s the leaflet. [pdf]
