At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. We are in a new phase of a very old war.

Imam Rauf: It’s About Islam
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the Ground Zero mosque, has finally surfaced in Dubai, giving an interview in which he asserts that the Park51 project is all about the future of Islam in America:
Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for YouTubing this clip. Consult last night’s news feed for the accompanying article.
From the News Feed article: “I am happy to be American,” Rauf told about 200 people at the Dubai School of Government think tank.
This is a total lie and represents pure taqiyya in action. Rauf is not an "American". His active efforts to subvert our Constitution and impose shari'a law in America make him an Islamic spy and traitor.
His receipt of taxpayer funding so that he and his wife could spread this sort of filth around the world is outright treason and needs to be treated as such.
Even if we grant Rauf the benefit of the doubt and accept that he is a "moderate" who wants to "defeat the extremists" (words that he and Daisy use), we must conclude that he is a coward when it comes to actually confronting the extremists in Islam, and their hundreds of millions of Islamic sympathizers.
Let us assume, for the sake of argument, that all hopes for reforming Islam rest on the shoulders of the likes of Imam Rauf. That tells us all we need to know.
"We don't want to question where money donated to religious organizations comes from."
The Heck we don't! We do it for our politicians, we should do it for our Religions. If some religion is being payed for by people who advocate a totalitarian, racist, intolerant, and violent form of religion that cannot co-exist with others, I want to know about it! I don't care if it's Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Wicca, Asatru, or any other religion!
Here are a few words by the Imam, translated into what I think is their true meaning.

There is no moderate Islam.
This Imam is truly a gift that keeps on giving.
