Does Obama Really Think These Talks Can Succeed?

Twice in the past year, Netanyahu has forced Obama into humiliating come-downs, writes LARA MARLOWE

But if the Israeli leader wants peace so badly, one couldn’t help wondering, why doesn’t he stop taking Palestinian land?

Maybe that's because THE ONLY WAY TO ADEQUATELY PUNISH PALESTINIAN PERFIDY OVER THEIR SHAM "LAND FOR PEACE" HOGWASH IS BY TAKING AWAY THAT LAND AND NEVER GIVING IT BACK.

For every terrorist attack, a hectare disappears forever. For every wounded Israeli, 10 hectares disappear forever. For every dead Israeli, 50 hectares disappear forever.

Maybe when all the Palestinians are crowded onto a final remaining postage stamp-sized piece of land will they finally realize the price of constant and unrelenting deceit.

The Palestinians never have, never will, nor do they even now want any peace. Why is it that they should have any land? Push Gaza out into the Sinai and the West Bank into Jordan and be done with it for once and all time.

Re: French teacher outrage:

If anyone who can write in French wishes to write to the relevant person at the school, please email the following with your feelings;

laurence.ukropine@ac-nancy-metz.fr

I wrote in English as it appears Catherine Pederzoli has done nothing wrong - on the contrary the school has broken its own rules. These are on the school website under "discrimination". Unfortunately my French is not good enough. Laurence said she could not understand my English. I don't believe her!

How much is too much? Every teacher must maintain a balance in the curriculum, and when teaching history, there are indeed events other than the holocaust that deserve mention. Did she spend too much time teaaching about the holocaust? I don't know, because the article doesn't provide any figures. Without facts or figures, it is impossible to say one way or the other, except that it is possible to teach too much about the holocaust (or any other subject), which constitutes malpractice on the part of any teacher.
