“Chaos for Glory”

That quote may be the new meme for a while. Big Government, a blog sponsored by Andrew Breitbart, has put up an amazing exposé of the Baltimore ACORN housing community organizers.

Below is the Fox News story explaining the background on this can of worms that two young, enterprising undercover investigators conceived, planned and carried out on their own:

They brought their finished product to Mr. Breitbart, but he requested all the footage and the complete transcripts before agreeing to show their story. After reviewing their work, Breitbart had James O’Keefe tell his story on the blog and show his films.

Mr. O’Keefe is a right wing activist. I do hope his tax records are in order because you know they will be coming after O’Keefe. He is also a creative, extremely bright young man. As he says in the introduction to his undercover films of ACORN giving criminal business advice:
- - - - - - - - -
A famous community organizer once said, “The only way to upset the power structure in your communities is to goad them, confuse them, irritate them and, most of all, make them live by their own rules. If you make them live by their own rules, you destroy them.” Impossible demands can irritate modern leftists in ways nothing else can, whether it’s by banning Lucky Charms cereal because it’s racist against Irish people, calling Planned Parenthood saying you want to donate money for black abortions in the name of Margaret Sanger, or making Sen. Snowe sign an oversized bailout check for a billion dollars to Amtrak, in her own office.

[Click on his post to see the links omitted here, but found in the original. They’re worth a look. By the way, the “famous community organizer” to whom he refers is, of course, Saul Alinsky. ACORN claims him as their own but they have gone far beyond any limit Mr. Alinsky had in mind.]

Big Government has all the raw footage and the transcripts in this particular scam. Look around the site. It’s full of good information in a number of areas, including the unions’ plans for health care.

You can also read Hannah Giles’ part of the story. She played the prostitute in the sting and it is she who mutters that phrase,"Chaos for Glory" as they leave the ACORN office.

We are living in exceptional times.
And right now the future of our country and the "media" is being defined.
What FOX, Glenn Beck, The New Zeal blog, The Gateway Pundit blog and so many others are doing a hell of a job of exposing the commies and revolutionaries in the Obama admin. and the demshevik ecosystem.
The rest of the "media" lost every bit of respectability (they still had...).
As for us, we must do what we can to save our country from this slow motion socialist revolution.

The third sector - charitable organizations and NGO's were sold to and accepted by the right as an alternative to BIG government and high taxes - this was false.

In the U.K. these organizations are nothing more than social security for the failed political elite, they defraud the public purse of billions of pounds and are undemocratic in their actions.

Charity is now a dirty word, they rob the goodwilled, taxpayers and the poor with equall ruthlessness and in the U.K. are in some cases no more than a front for terrorism.

4Symbols - are those what they call "Quangos" (Quasi-Autonomous NGOs)? I assume the acronym is correct - somewhat of an oxymoron to be frank. -- Ofcom (only one whose name comes to mind at this moment) and others - generally gov't mouthpieces.

It will be very interesting to see how much traction this story gets in the press and MSM. Of even greater interest will be BHO's reaction (if any), to this unmasking of one of his pet liberal causes. Of even greater importance is making sure whatever blowback that happens reaches all the way into ACORN's role in the subprime mortgage crisis. That will be some real meat on the table.

There is a report by the U.K. Taxpayers Alliance (here)that put the number of identifiable quangs at 1,162 at a cost of £64 billion, equivalent to £2,550 per household, which employ almost 700,000 bureaucrats.

The quango is one of the ways the EU exerts it's pernicious dictatorial influence.
